Nice campingsite. There is one hotspot and one swimmingpool - both are very nice after a long day. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Lots of space for tents and campervans, free showers (closing time for them is 10pm). Way above Icelandic standards (which are really really low). Beware, it can be quite windy.

Great campsite with a swimming pool right in the camp (still very calm place). Showers are for free in the swimming pool and if you want to go swimming you just pay 500 isk per person. Price for a tent and two people in it was 2600 isk, therefore, cheaper than in the most of the campsites.

So glad we choose to skip the planned camp site to hit one extra site seeing spot then ended up here. Was a great place and the camping card network should put this place in the top 20.
The wide open spaces allowed for all sorts of room! And makes for enjoying the valley. Very good time, albeit short.response / report this review -

Few toilets for the size of the place. Noise from the road. Swimming pool till 22:00. Small room for doing dishes with only one sink. Badly accessible toilets and showers.

Love it !! Very nice and helpful staff. Small clean kitchen, toilets, living room area.Swimming pool, free showers. A small restaurant if you don't want to cook. I would recommended to everyone.

Camping nice but you have to pay for shower and wifi. They close the shower in the evening.

We liked the camping a lot and stayed for two nights. Extremely nice location in relation to Myvatn volcanic district and Husavik where you do whale watching. The camping has everything, including a pool at the site. Yes, it's not super-new, but we'll kept and clean. Recommended.

Nice area for tents and motorhomes, but the showers and kitchen can be improved. Showers are open, no walls/doors for privacy
It's the Icelandic way for swimming pool dressing rooms, but we foreigners aren't very confortable with this. The kitchen for tent campers is in a shed in the back of the house, but there isn't a covered area to eat. I'm giving 4 stars because I did love the lounge area at the entrance, it's so relaxing to sit in a comfortable chair in a warm room when camping.response / report this review -
