The place has been upgraded since the last time I visited. It feels much more commercial than in the past. The old store is still there, and it feels more like a log cabin. The place has been upgraded with a few restaurants.

Wool, wool and more wool. A great place to buy some truely local made products. Heaps of parking and good prices and huge range. Can be a little busy. But the store is huge so doesn't feel crowded till you try to checkout.

Great shop with lots of variety in terms of wool and already completed pieces. They offer a factory tour too. A cafe and larger shop are also attached.

The shop is large and fun to look in, but it was too overrun by tourists during our visit -- which made it frustrating. Many of the items for sale are the typical Icelandic souvenirs found all over the island, with the same outrageous prices. It's nice for Vik to have such a large shop though, since there aren't many other places nearby to find food or other items. It's also nice that it's attached to the Kronan.

Great location, OK price, great quality.
I got tracking shoes, scarf and other winter clothes there. Next time I will be definitely more prepared! This shop is expensive but not the worst. We went to road66 and that was even more expensive.
Be ready to spend your money there :)
The staff is very nice and the quality is very good!

The place has changed since my first visit year's ago. When that is said it is a must stop on the way to a trip trough Iceland. I found great hacking shoes and they do great to girls :)

Huge souvenir shop, which expanded recently and has pretty much everything for tourists. When shopping for wool clothes, make sure to check where they're manufactured (very few of the products there are actually made in Iceland).

They have a lot of wool and outdoor products as well as souvenirs. Wool sweaters can be found in a lot of different designs and the prices range from ~9000 to 30000 ISK. The factory tour was not available due to construction work.

Probably one of the cheaper spots to get Icewear clothing. You can actually look into the factory as well.

Excellent place to shop for your authentic Icelandic wool sweaters! Price level not the cheapest in Iceland, but I've always loved Icewear's quality!

Great selection. I bought the wool socks and they were amazing. I was outside in 30 f degree weather with the socks and flip flops with no issues but they are pricey. Also had them on hiking and it got to 70 f degree my feet were never hot. Love them. Also had to get the neat glove that you put on a has a beer holder! Great for drinking beer on a cold night. Wanted to get a sweater and a blanket but the sweater was about $200 usd and the blanket was $1000 usd. Maybe later if I move from florida not much use here.

Here is the fabric of the icewear-label with a good choice of clothes. The quality is very good and the prices acceptable. A good store!
