Really nice host, very clean, quiet, wonderful little spot. I would highly recommend this place to anybody!!!

Room is clean, kitchen has all the gear including oils, sugar, tea, salt to aid with preparations. Perhaps a dishwasher would be of benefit. Dining area sufficient for consumption. Our room was freshly painted. Bathrooms are a little odd in that one shower is shared with a toilet while the other with a urinal so you cannot maximise the full amenities. We took the linen and towel option and both were clean and beds made on arrival. Access to the room can be self managed through obtaining the key via a key safe openable using a code provided when booking. The owner lives just behind so if there's a problem walk up the hill. We also took advantage of the washer and dryer, it's mainly used for internal purposes but when free you can use it. Assume 10 USD per load.

It was not what we have ordered. The place is very tiny and there are only two showers for 20 people !!!

Tidy place where you can meet Icelanders fixing nearby lighthouse, thumb up.
