Van camping cost 3600kr for 2 people. Access to heated kitchen, living room area and toilet. To shower, you will need 3x100 coins for 7 minutes shower time. Wifi cost extra. Did not see any staff on campsite. Had to walk over to Framtid hotel frontfesk to check in. The frontdesk person (bald guy with ear studs) was unfriendly and had a bad attitude.

The camp site was very basic. We came In winter and the amenities were locked. Check In is at the hotel nearby. There is also a restaurant near the entrance to the campsite which serves really nice food. The burgers are great.

Nice little campground. There are both camping spots and spots for hook ups for an RV. The small building on the lot has bathrooms, a kitchen and also a small washer and dryer. The campground is VERY flat so that is nice. If you get there early you can go to the big hotel just next to this camp ground to pay for your spot or you can wait and someone will come around 6pm to 7pm and check all new people in.

There isn't too much to do in Hofn other than enjoy the community pool or check out a few shops they have there. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely visit again if we had the chance.

camping was great. They had closed the camping for a couple day because there was no guest, but they re-opened it right away when we said we wanted to sleep there. Kitchen Was Great. Shower were hot. Everything was super clean. The view from the campground was amazing as well.

This lodging site is a hotel which includes a campsite and barrel-like cottages. I stayrd in the barrel which was beautiful. It was clean, comfy and enough room for 2 people. (The room itself had 3 beds.) We stayed here in Oct so the room came with an electric heater as it was 2 degrees Celsius. The beds were comfortable, especially after sleeping in the camper van for a few days. (They do offer bedding for an additional price. I brought my own pillow and sleeping bag which saved me a few kr.) The showers and kitchen were in a separate building which also included a washer and dryer. The showers were 300kr for 7 minutes. Didn't use the washer but I remember seeing a price list for it. The place is clean and comfortable. The best part is the view you wake up too. This is a nice stop along the way.

we stayed in a cabin and it was fantastic. cozy and quiet. The campsite itself was small but the communal area was well-equipped. There were lovely views from the campsite too. The only negative is that the wifi didn' reach the cabins, perhaps something they could improve.

I arrived by bike and found a nice and warm common room both with tables to eat and sofa to stay and relax. Clean toilets and laundry room. Kinda expensive compared to others but is a quite central place this village.

Cozy lodging experience. Be warned that you need coins to get a hot shower. Facilities were clean but crowded.

Small camp site, but really clean and well equipped facilities in the common room. Toilets and showers really good.
Wooden lodges look good but we didn't try them. Be sure to go to the local hot pool, only 5 minutes back down Road 1 Westerly.

小木球屋是不提供棉被以及洗澡服務，要注意一下，需要的話是另外加價。
昨天去很冷，幸運的旅館幫我們免費升級，相當於美金140元的房間，照片就是我們住的。(原本為美金110元)
因為小木球屋沒有暖氣。
非常感謝旅館。

Good camp ground here with great views of the harbour :-) didn't see any barrel lodging but regular camping here was great ;-) photo's x 2 of spectacular iced roads is nearby on hwy 939 ubove Djupivogur ;-) well worth a drive on this road !! PS Road is safe to drive on with regular hire car ( no chains on tyres were required but still check to be safe )))

The campground was great. A little pricey, but the warm kitchen and WC made it well worth it. Unfortunately, the male shower was not working at the time of my stay so my husband was unable to enjoy the nice, hot shower that I was able to have.

I've never stayed in a barrel before, probably never will again but I have to say it was good. Lights, electric sockets, 2 radiators, comfy beds, table and chairs Well worth it for the photos alone.
