A cosy place, with very friendly hosts, this guest house used to be the Post Office some years ago. Now converted into a warm and comfortable place with about a dozen odd rooms, a shared kitchen, small reading place near the stairs, and a location that is right on the main road. Walking distance to any place on the town, be it eateries, cafes, gas station, supermarket, liquor store you name it, and it's right there, if you can brave the cold winds that seem to be a trademark of this small but beautiful town. There is even a 'historical relic' from the past that has been preserved inside the guest house a blue steel safe made by the famous Chubb of England! (Maybe I'll post the pic later).

Only stayed for one night but a nice quiet hotel. It was handy that they had a balcony which we could look for the northern lights on, luckily it was the only night of our stay in which we saw them. Very helpful front desk. Would stay again

Strategically located, it's near supermarket and petrol station. The guest house is clean and comfortable.

amble common space : kitchen / shared bathroom
great Kirkjufell mountain view from the rooms (backside only)
great choice for budget stay , there is a good restaurant not far from the guesthouse

Nicer inside than from the outside. Rooms were clean and have their own sink. :) Big Kitchen to use and also a place to sit outside and enjoy the sunset. Spent a nice evening with other travellers. Girl from reception gave good Tips for the next day.
