Good clean rooms, shower and kitchen. 5 min drive gives you perfect view of kirkjufell mountain and place to catch northern lights!

this town is the first place we pick to stay as we landed in Iceland. After long hours drive, it's all worthed. Easy check in and check out, we got the top floor that has a bedroom and another room for sofa and dining table. The place is clean, nice kitchen with complete equipments. So we got enough window with different view, and from this place was the first time we saw THE NORTHERN LIGHT! OMG unforgettable moment. And also this town is our favorite place so far, small but feel peaceful and friendly.

Staff were helpful; I thought the facility was very clean, well-kept and nicely decorated. There are rooms of different sizes, and I was able to get a 1-bed room away from much noise on a night when I really needed some sleep. Easy checkout. Nice location in a friendly town. Keep an eye out for safety as you'll be parking in a lot adjacent to a nearby elementary school though. They love their kids, drive slowly.

Rooms are a bit dated, but all-in-all a nice hostel. 2 kitchens, 2 lounges, enough toilets, limited showers.
Free tea/coffee facilities.
Free WiFi
Free parking
Great location
Won't break the bank!

WiFi not working, guests must take off shoes before enter into the structure, beds unconfortable and soap dispenser contains just water with a little amount of soap in it i dont suggest this accomodation

We stayed in the 4 person apartment by the water. Location was great with a view of Kirkjufell. Extra bonus: we saw northern lights from our window :)

noce and clean rooms. wifi is ok. you can hear every noise the other guests make. especially peeing, showering and snoring. if thats ok for you, go for it.

Really cute hostel. It's very clean and friendly staff. Only downfall might be the fact that internet connection isn't great unless you are at the reception area

Good clean rooms cleaned daily. Do it yourself cooking, so provide your own breakfast from the nearby convenience store. Fab price :-)

Clean rooms with new furnishings and friendly staff. We rented a 1-bdrm apartment that slept 4 people and found it very comfortable. Our room was right on the water with an amazing view of the mountains and the ocean.
