Clean and comfortable hotel. Room is clean and bathroom is adequate. I could see the church from my room so that's a bonus. WiFi is a letdown though. Overall it's not a bad place to stay.

Very good hotel with beautiful view! Breakfast has variety of choices, rooms are clean and well equiped! Easy to find location on a top of a hill. Close to the supermarket and a couple of restaurants. Staff are friendly and professional. I recommend the hotel and town as a stop to rest while travelling the peninsula. Beautiful landscapes in all directions!

Nice hotel in beautiful small Icelandic town. Good breakfast. Our room was nice. Lucky provided good service with a smile. Friendly staff.

From the other reviews, I thought we were in for a bad night but it was really good. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable with a lovely view. The bathroom was fine - plenty of hot water and serviceable. I'd come back here.

This place is old. And not in a good way. It serves its purpose and is probably geared more towards the big busses that travel through with loads of people.

The hotel is good. The rooms are good, but the bathrooms aren't really convenient. The showers aren't closed (you shower directly onto the bathroom floor). The room at the end of the floor is very noisy because of all the wind. It can make it hard to fall asleep. The included breakfast is very good, it has a lot of variety.
The room cleaning leaves a lot to be desired, though. Both days we stayed here and the bathroom wasn't cleaned by the room cleaners. Both days we had to go to the reception and ask twice for the bathroom to be done. Oh, the Wi-Fi is terribly bad. I could only get it to connect in the lobby.response / report this review -

Great view but no functioning wifi, even when a staff member gave us a repeater. 2 busloads of loud americans who monopolised the dining area, i suspect they were mostly hard of hearing based on the volume they spoke at. Breakfast pretty ordinary too - no healthy cereals. Dinner was ok but waaaaay too salty. But staff were helpful
