Definitely worth it, view is amazing and very safe to climb. It looks a bit intimidating but the trail is mark and super safe. Loved it

Another really good waterfall in Iceland. You can also do some hiking around the forest which has the tallest tree in Iceland. There is also a nice turf house next to the waterfall!

Beautiful waterfall, though a small one compared to the most famous ones in the area. As interesting is the short hike that will take you above the waterfall to a thawing icy lake and surrounding hills that offer a great view of the surroundings of Systrafoss.

I wasn't planning to go here, but noticed it from the highway and decided tp check it out. Was 100% worth it. Big payoff for a short hike. Amazing views of the town and valley as well as the lake up top.

Good place to stop by. Not sure if you can go near though, it seems like it is behind a gated community. Its worth to take a look from a far.

There is a small walking passage which takes you to the waterfalls(which is itself beautiful) and if you walk further a fantastic view! The walk is totally worth it. This not very well known 'hilltop' was the crown jewel of my visit to Iceland. Don't miss it!

The walk up is easy. We did it at night and had a really good time. At the top is a small lake and the drop off for the waterfall. Was even better because we saw the northern lights for about an hour before it vanished

The waterfall Systrafoss is unique in its kind. The shape of the rocks, how the water falls and the surroundings make this waterfall one of the most beautiful and photogenic waterfalls in Iceland.

Systrafoss is one of my favorite waterfalls in Iceland.

Nice falls with marked walking trails. Very quiet we were the only ones there. Falls runs down under a large rock. Quite scenic
