Great views. I came here on a cost effective trip and it was nice, the room I had was rather dated but with some splashes of modern in it like the shelf on the wall and some cooking things. The self catering for this place is less than ideal with not much cutlery and cooking utensils available. The leather sofas were nice but nothing to brag about. Overal it wasn't shabby at all but for the price was great
Amazing hotel with such incredible views of the city. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay right in 101 street.
We had several questions before the trip and staffs there responded in a good time manner, very informative both before and during the trip.
Only a few mins walk from bus stop no. 7, where is a main pick-up point for airport transfer and tours.
The room itself is spacious, clean, and warm!
However, wifi should be fixed; it didn’t work at all.
The rooms were very nice. Hard wood floors and nice Jacuzzi tub. In the heart of the city and They let us check in early and most of the staff was friendly. During our trip the sauna was broken and housekeeping forgot to refill our soap depenser. Otherwise, great experience.
Great, fair priced, apartments in the middle of Reykjavik. Good equipment, not the same in all apartments though. Quick check-in and out and friendly staff.
Just a stones throw from the bus stop 7 (designated pick up and drop off points for tour coaches.), this is a quaint apartment hotel right in the middle of the city- opposite 66 North shop!! There is a mix bag of apartment types! For my first night stay, we were lucky to get a junior suite! Access is via a private staircase in the room!! There are two good sized tv in this apartment! One facing the bed, and the other one facing the kitchen! The toiletries, bathrobe, bedroom slippers are well placed. The shower water was thermal hot water. The apartment is also well stocked with a coffee machine and quality tea bags! The balcony was awesome! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!!
The apartment hotel three days later was not as good at this time as it is a lower grade!! The sauna on the fourth floor is a bonus!
Quite small for its price.. staying on 4th floor without lift is quite a nightmare with loads of luggages.. unit is quite clean.. chairs have some dirt patches, some are sticky and dusty.. location is the only good point for this apartment.. right in the middle of Reykjavik..
Great location and very nice room. Steam room is great too. The staff were really friendly and helpful as well. Recommended.
An excellent place to stay in Reykjavík -- very centrally located, reasonably priced for a short weekend stay and the flat itself (one step above the budget option) was great. I appreciated the full kitchenette and the roomy bathroom. A minor point: Icelandic TV channels (in addition to international ones) would have been nice.
lovely spot and great location in the older part of the city. plenty to do and see here although everything is much more costly than UK especially eating out. the apartment has a kitchen and all mod cons and is serviced too! the smell mentioned in earlier posts is the sulphur in the water. not a problem once you get used to it.
The hotel was in a convenient location. Has a kitchen in the room which was nice. The room did have a mild sewage smell.
Excellent central location in middle of trendy shopping district with many bars, restaurants all around.Friendly staff and well stocked kitchenette
.The bus stop for most tours nearby.Free public parking during night.
Great location. Friendly staff.
Loud. People are yelling till 3 am during the week I was there. But its what you get for being downtown. Bring earplugs. Also the shower water kept leaking. It never stopped and made a maddening ticking sound all the time. We eventually had to put towels in the tub to block the noise. The smell is just their mineral water. Do not make a huge fuss. If it bugs you then bring spray. I Found a lipstick stain on the wine glass and I didnt care for the toilet. It has a odd cover that forces you to touch way to much when lifting it . But again. For the price its decent. Our room didn't have a good view but the room is spacious and cute.
Excellent location, but a bit hard to find. Convenient access to shopping, restaurants and local sites. The room was clean and adequate, but did not look like the photos advertised on the web. The room reminded me of my dorm in college, with an upgraded bathroom. Our view was of an alley with a lot of graffiti. We used the pull-out couch for my son which was surprisingly comfortable. There is major construction next door, so any napping during the day hours is difficult. Photo is our view from room 312.
Very well located with good amenities. Friendly staff that were helpful in answering any questions we had.
Great place to stay.
Fantastic location, very clean, quiet, friendly. Everything you need in the kitchen to cook and coffee/tea.
Would stay here again for sure.
Right in the middle of town and a short walk from free parking. Big appartements with a tiny kitchen (that I did not use). I booked last minute and could only get a budget room which meant that the bathroom was a short walk down the hallway. It was tiny and smelled musty (which they know since they ask guests to leave the door open for a while after using it for venting). For a night this was fine but I would avoid the budget option if possible.
Hello .. booked the accommodation in your hotel for 4 nights of which two I could sleep very well, one did not use it because I slept in another city., But the last night of Saturday 29th it was impossible to sleep because of the unbearable noise of the bar I stayed in room 406 and it was impossible to sleep on a Saturday night here, and I also agreed that on that day I had to wake up at 4am to go to the airport. I simply ask for my money back Last night because the hotel should be prepared with anti acoustic windows. I want to share a video I recorded that night from my window so that you can understand what I say and because I request the return of my money
Easy and friendly check in. Great location in the popular downtown area. Clean and spacious room but a fair bit of noise from the street, and we were at the back of the building looking over a pub outdoor terrace. No on site car parking but a few minutes walk from the free car park at Hallgrimskirkja.
Relatively nice room with kitchen stuff. Get groceries at any bonus supermarket for pretty cheap and eat in instead of spending insane amounts eating out.
Convenient location, friendly staff. Clean and spacious apartment.
Stayed here for a couple of days for the first leg of our iceland trip. Our room was very clean and organized and the staff was very helpful! Some downside of the place, the bathroom is very small, I'm not a big guy but even I had to maneuver around the bathroom to close the door without it hitting me. That being said, it was a great hotel and very centrally located in Reykjavik. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to iceland.
All of the photos for this hotel on the website, as far as I can tell, are for the main location which is at the address listed. They also offer rooms across the street in a (non-renovated) apartment building that has no elevator. The studio apartment we were given was a cozy studio apartment with mini fridge, induction cooktop and full supplies to cook meals. This building does not have a front desk, but does have daily maid service. It was perfectly fine for our purposes, but if an elevator and a typical "hotel" experience are important to you, you should confirm that you are booked into the primary location.
