All you can eat is very good there if you like fish. Traditional dishes are also served.
Very nice and cozy place. Internațional food at a good price! The personnel is very friendly.
Just gorgeous . Buffet self service style at its best. The only thing I would say is that the starting choices are better than the main ones. If you like fish, you will love this place.
Great food! ISK 2250 per person for lunch buffet, tasty and nice portion, very cheap considering the skyhigh price in iceland.
Enjoyed the food, expensive for what it is, but then Reykjavik is well known for inflated prices when eating out. Staff very friendly, and tips are the expectation.
This place is fabulous - the staff were amazing so polite and helpful - the food was absolutely fantastic I tried everything including the whale and it was tremendous, I could have sat down with the tray of smoked salmon in front of me - ate the lot and rolled out the door .. bonus that tea and coffee are included and the desserts of which I am usually not a big fan were also really really good- if we make it back to Iceland this is my first stop !
Their food selection is great! Many choices, warm and cold, as well as a vast drink menu (not that I need it). The lighting and furniture are comforting and stylish.
Fantastic restaurant! We came on Christmas Eve for the buffet and it was well worth the expense. The restaurant is lovely inside, the staff were nice and the food incredible. Will remember this venue warmly for many Christmases to come.
Pretty and safe, great experience but expensive such as souvenir mugs made in china for 16€
I was here back in 2006. It was an Ice Bar called Kaffi Reykjavík. The restaurant now is much better
Fab service, good food, good price.
Nice buffet and good service. A little bit pricey, but ok for the Icelandic standard.
Good food, good service but a bit pricey
Sorry, but the relation of the quality of the food, the service and the price are not well balanced - in my point of view unacceptable! Never again .
Good food, very nice decor, expensive but not by local standards
I'm in here now. The whole place stinks of fish, which means it's either not fresh and/or they don't clean it well. All but two dishes for the lunch buffet are unappetising and taste off. The mixed veggies dish is under the one heat lamp, and it's the best tasting thing here. There's nothing to keep the fish at any temperature other than room. I regret eating anything from here.
Very delicious food. But for lunch very small variety. The price is cheap, considering its city center! 2250ISK pp. Amazing value and amazing food.
Can not rate this place highly enough. We had our wedding reception here and returned 2 years later for our anniversary. We were treat amazingly and nothing was to much trouble. The food was fantastic and waiting on staff were friendly and very professional. Iv been to Reykjavik 5 times now and this is the best place iv eaten in by a country mile.
We had the Christmas buffet, the food was fantastic and the staff were great. It was a little busy but it was bound to be on Christmas day. I think it was quite expensive however we prepaid for the meal through Thomson.
The buffet food was fresh and delicious. It had beautiful Icelandic dishes.
I would recommend Restaurant Reykjavik to anyone, expect it to be expensive, as is everything in Iceland but the quality and taste is definitely worth it.
We were only in Iceland for a few days and had the lunch seafood buffet here. The restaurant was nice and comfy, quiet, my mom has a gluten allergy, and she could still eat almost everything in the buffet. The chef was kind enough to come out and point out what was not gluten free. There was a large variety of food, and I was quite surprised at the price, given the selection and quality-! Recommended if you enjoy seafood at a good price in a comfortable atmosphere.
