IM FROM NEW YORK so I know what good noodles are and this ain’t it!! I came here bc it’s on a lot of cheap eats lists online but this was so gross. I had the vegetable noodle bowl. It looked pretty but tasted so bland. I felt like I was drinking toilet water. It was so thin, flavorless, I have no idea why people think this tastes good. My friend had the chicken noodle bowl and thought the same thing. Please find somewhere else to eat.

A rare relatively inexpensive place to eat in Reykjavik. Menu is limited to different kinds of noodle soup which is basically a version of pho. However food was very good.

Service was fast and welcoming! If you want "A little bit of spice" ask for no spice-- the noodles have a nice amount of flavor without an additional kick. I had the chicken noodles which had a good amount of meat and veg, with more of a "curry soup" vibe.

It was worth the price of the airline ticket just to have their giant cup of noodles. Delicious and piping hot. Full of big chunks of beef and noodles it was just plain good. No complaints and will be returning to celebrate the World Cup with several orders. I can't wait.

We were very with a satisfying and inexpensive meal. Everyone in our party of 4 was happy eating there after a long day of travel into a city that we knew nothing about. It was a nice welcome.

Big and delicious portion for what you pay! The beef noodle in soup was ~1600İSK. Service was super fast and there were seats to sit and eat.

Quick service, simple but tasty food. I think it is pho, but I'm not 100% sure. It's good for a filling taste of SE Asia in the heart of Reykjavik. Cheap, good food.

Amazing smell as you walk past and as your getting off the bus!
The smell alone makes you want to go inside and trywhich we did!
We were left somewhat underwhelmed.
The price is very reasonable but to be honest the food was completely tasteless and lacked even the tiniest hint of flavour.
Even the broth had no taste. We did not dislike our experience it just left us a little disappointed and we were expecting a lot of flavour.
Nice cheap eats, nice smell, shame it did not deliver on the taste! Ideal if you like plain noodles.

Really reasonable price for a large portion of food, we found it a great place to eat and we actually went back again as it was tasty. Quite sparse inside but you're not there for the interior design. We tried both beef and chicken noodle soups, both really great. Really quick service, great spot for food before or after a tour as there's a bus station outside!

From an Asian POV, the soup here is delicious and the beef is tender enough. We ordered mild spicy and it has quite a kick, so if you can’t take spice don’t order it. Best enjoyed on cold winter days and when you’re missing Asian food.

This was probably my FAVORITE thing to eat while in Iceland. The smell as you're getting off Bus Stop 10 has you walking into this place without realizing it. The flavor and the ingredients are PHENOMENAL! Your mouth will have a dance party. The beef was so tender it literally just melts in your mouth. (salivating) The service is quick and this place can get really packed really fast so DON'T HESITATE! Get in LINE NOW!

It will warm you up. But I don't think it was super filling or flavorful. Broth was very meh and the noodles we're just okay. I will compliment the quick service and the beef was very tender. But overall it's a hard pass for me. Considering the few chunks of meat were the only thing good.

Edit.

After I went to drop off my bowl it would appear most people didn't like the broth either. Plenty of bowls full of broth and that's saying a lot considering how cold it was outside.

After reading positive reviews me and my partner thought we should give this place a go. We were not disappointed at all, I had the chicken noodle soup and my partner the beef and I have honestly never tasted more tender, tastier chicken! My partner was also very satisfied by the generous portion for the price and the all the different, but not overwhelming, flavours and he's not normally a fan of oriental dishes. Would definitely recommend.

After a chilly walk outdoors, this noodle soup is heaven. Hot and spicy warmth the stomach. Wonderful tasty broth and tender meat. One of the more affordable restaurant in Iceland.

Probably the cheapest place you will eat in Iceland. Food is good, service is fast. Tends to be a line at night, but not crowded during the day. Perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat while out exploring the town

This place is more affordable than other restaurants in Reykjavik and a warm bowl of noodle soup is always good in colder weather, especially when there's rain too. It's Thai style, and you can get beef or chicken (and I think a veggie option too). The broth is good and the beef is pretty tender. A nice spot for a meal in Reykjavik!

So, so good. It was warm and filling. The broth was fantastic. My mom got the chicken and I got the beef. Both were phenomenally tender and juicy. I highly recommend if you're looking for a slight chance of pace from Icelandic fare (the soup is Asian-inspired) and something relatively affordable (for Reykjavik).

Cheap (relatively) and cheerful. Good size portion. Keep an eye on the LED screen opposite to the serving counter: it shows the all people's order I. Sequence and you can probably make out when you will get your food esp when the place is busy!

Beef was cooked well and flavorful. This place does well because there's no other competition in iceland. The broth was very sweet and there's very little vegetables in the soup. Tasted more like they tried to make pad thai soup than noodle soup. Definitely wouldn't pass for any type of noodle soup in the US. Staff is friendly and service is quick, but I wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go back there.

Flavors were good. Noodles were good. Price is reasonable. Loses a star because the vegetable bowl really only had Celery in it as a vegetable (come on? would it kill you to put 1-2 rehydrated Shiitakes in there? but then again the veggie bowl is considerably cheaper).., also the flavor in the veggie bowl was pretty lacking compared to the beef bowl, which was quite delicious. But don't let that turn you off, definitely worth stopping in, just go for a meat bowl.

We ate there twice during our two day stay in Reykjavik. The service is great and the food is very tasty. We tried the beef and the chicken noodle soup (the remaining option was just vegetables) and they were both very good (better yet if add some spices). Like this wasn't already enough, this is also one of the cheapest eats in Reykjavik!

I'm sorry to say this is one of the worst noodle soups I've ever tasted. Place is clean and staff is kinda nice (hence two stars), maybe I just came on a bad day, but I can't recommend this place based on the food. At all. It's not that cheap either. The broth tastes too strong, probably due to overusing condiments. Meat is sub-par. Ask spicy and they make it over-spicy. Just avoid for your own good. x

Perfectly OK noodle soup. Not quite pho, but close. Menu options: beef, chicken, or vegetable soup. That's it. An adequate meal, quickly, at a fair price. Not Icelandic traditional food, but neither traditional Icelandic food prices.
