We had a lovely experience! Cozy and warm decor is just what you need in a cold Reykjavík night. We tried the pasta, it was delicious (recommend the Jose Special!) and service was great. Would return :)

£110 for two pizza, two beers, two lobster soup, and a orange soda. They didn’t remove the intestinal sack from the lobster. It was in my soup. Overpriced poor quality food. However do agree with other reviews about the atmosphere/ambience. Can’t offer a recommendation on this I am afraid.

A wonderful restaurant with amazing Italian inspired food. I recommend the langustine salad, arctic char, and pretty much everything else.

What a lovely warm and cosy restaurant that is a perfect night away from the crisp cold of the Icelandic winter. The decor and atmosphere is one of the nicest experienced eating out, an acoustic guitarist just sat and started playing (Friday night) which added a lovely touch.

Garlic bread is a whole pizza perfect for sharing and the lasagne is tasty too. Would have preferred more defined pasta layers though. The final bill for two came to around £75 which isn't too bad for Iceland.
Would highly recommend to anyone yearning for a slice of Italy in the centre of Iceland.response / report this review -

Great presentation , filet cooked to perfection but tuff as nails. Very dissapointed in the quality of a 80+$$ entree. We will not be returning.

Great food, cozy atmosphere inside, helpful and friendly staff. And on top of that, the prices are not as ridiculous as most better quality restaurant in this area. Go there!

Me and my partner ate here on one of our 3 nights in Iceland.
We arrived and the restaurant was very busy so had a half an hour wait, not an issue as we sat and had a drink whilst we waited.
We ordered and the food came quickly, the service was very good, friendly and smiling staff is always nice to see.
I ordered the Bolognese which was lovely, the meat was very rich and the dish was full of garlic which I love! (Not so attractive for my partner haha) he ordered a pizza and with recommendations on here saying it's the best pizza in Iceland he was a disappointed. The pizza was so overdone he struggled to cut it up, one piece was so difficult to cut it flew across the table! I told him to send it back but he was too hungry by this point.
Overall I loved my food, my partner not so much! It may just have been that they were very busy that evening however I would have liked a little more attention to detail considering the food prices in Iceland!response / report this review -

This is a good choice for food in the city centre of Reykjavik. The menu is typically Italian and the food is good and sensibly priced for Reykjavik. The service is friendly and effective. One thing to loom out for - the door is around the back of the building and I think somewhat easily missed when passing by on the street. Recommended.
