Food was good, pretty quick despite being busy. Good value for Reykjavik!

Place is a bit small not ideal for sit down more a takeaway place nonetheless good food and good service with a smile be prepared for a wait as they are busy they also serve a good coffee espresso or cappuccino it’s from machine but quality is good. The falafel was great vegan option available but must be informed at order as the falafel wrap has yoghurt.
The humus was good and so was the spicy sauce.

The service was horrendous. They weren’t even busy only one couple waiting for their takeout. My brother ordered a lamb shawarma and falafel the wait was long because the three guys in the back did not want to work. They ended up giving us two wraps in a flimsy plastic bag with a hole in it so one kept falling onto the floor. At that point didn’t even realize the food wasn’t marked looked identical I was so distracted by how he was making grabbing us an extra bag an ordeal. Like crazy he had to lift a finger move a muscle for his customer. They gave us two chicken wraps and I don’t eat meat. They just did not care. We didn’t ask for anything, utensils napkins sauce, NOTHING yet they still couldn’t get it right. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY ! The couple ahead of us probably got our food.

Delicious and unbeatable prices. Homemade hummus and moist falafel. Huge portions, too. They also stay open late, something that is rare in Reykjavik. Highly recommend.

So damn good. We searched downtown for ages for decent food. Just go straight here if you're looking for a well priced, tasty and decent sized bite.

My husband and I are visiting from the US and were in the mood for some Mediterranean cuisine. To our surprise we found Mandi Reykjavík and needed to get our fix. WOW WE WERE BLOWN AWAY. Not only Was the service extremely hospitable and nice, the food was amazing. The portions were very generous, and the chicken, beef, fish were so tender and flavorful. Don’t get me started on the rice! I could not get enough as much as I wanted to stop I could not. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and will be coming back. If you are visiting Reykjavík, or are local, you must hit up the spot. You will not be disappointed.

Don't judge the book by its cover! Recommended to us because we came back very late after Blue Lagoon. This place was still open so we gave it a try.
Food - great.
Service - top notch. Even made something free for us to try while waiting.
Atomosphere - casual.
Price - very reasonable.
Style - quick bite. Hot food.
Although its like a fast food place, food is excellent.
If you are looking for a fancy place with designer like deco, this is not for you.

Highly recommend. We ate here almost every day, sometimes more than once! They made me a lamb salad that was delicious, filling, and healthy. This is definitely the nicest portioned and least expensive meal we found (generous meals for about $12-$15). Friendly service, too! Best food in town.

Very tasty falafel rolls. Found on our last evening in town.
Thin flat Lebanese bread style wraps was perfect for enjoying the flavour of the falafel without he feeling of having too much bread.
2 wraps and a serving of hommus very reasonably priced, and there were a number of bar style seats around the walls so more seating than previous reviews led us to believe.response / report this review -

Best fast food in Reykjavík. Their hummus is to die for. If you're two ask for hummus, fries (the sauce is amazing) and a falafel wrap to share. If you're more just multiply that formula :D The staff is super nice.

Friendly staff and great food. One of the few places in Reykjavik open after 11 pm where u can get something other than burgers. Their spicy sauce was out of this world.

Great food, huge portions and well priced. The service was super fast (considering it was 3am and there were 20 drunken partygoers smushed in the place). Very attentive and courteous staff, they even remembered the specifics of everyones requests, this will be my Reykjavik go to spot for on the go food for sure.

Super delicious and relatively inexpensive place to get shawarma in Reykjavik. They gave us sweet arabic tea, and were generally very nice.
