Haven't been to a Hard Rock Cafe before and wasn't expecting much. However, it was just great; John was lovely, our waitress was equally lovely and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Mostly everything was good but service was the greatest. Waiter was really nice and made it a worthwhile experience.
Price wasnt to expensive depending on what you order ofc.
Would recommend party platter but would ask to not get bread with it and less salads.
I found the restaurant a bit tight with space some places.

Excellent place with good food, prices and great lunch specials. Was especially impressed with John (the Engish host) he was very professional, thoroughly and informative. Took the time to answer a couple of questions I had about Reykjavik. I told him he should write an Iceland blog.

Not impressed by their service and food quality. Staff is to busy not giving the guests any attention.
And to top the experience they charged additionally 15% on the total amount due to Good Friday. Would have been nice to know before ordering.response / report this review -

Standard for all Hard Rock cafes! Good quality and good value (especially in Iceland when the price of food is higher than the UK, so doesn't seem expensive at all in comparison)

We ate here as a couple and loved it. The food was great, which is typical of a hard rock cafe - Having eaten at others before.
There was a wide variety of veggie and vegan options which we lovedwe would highly rieccomend the vegan burger.
Prices are fair given it's in the centre.
The table service from the staff was first class - fast and friendly. We sat near the kitchen and could easily see the chefs and from what we could see hygeine is 5*.
Great atmosphere with friendly and happy staff. We would highly recommend this place for food.response / report this review -

Classic Hard Rock! Decor, music and food all typical Hard Rock style as any franchise should reflect in different places. The staff here were incredibly friendly and chatty, along with being very invested into their drink making and serving. What we liked the best was the offers put in place to get us to come back, we went in for a momento drink to say that we had been to another Hard Rock, when receiving our bill we were given a survey offer which when completed we would receive any free appetiser (except the mega mega one). The next night we visited again and between two of us, we struggled to finish our free starter even as a main course! Very happy with our visit and would definitely visit this Hard Rock or another again!

Great restaurant. Well run especially given it's rather new. Food was good quality.
There were a couple of loud woman who would appear to have over indulged at the bar which the staff handled professionally, politely asking them to be quiet or leave. That was the only downside but you can't blame an establishment for the behaviour of guests. You can give credit for the way staff handle these situations.
We come to Iceland most years and will absolutely be back.response / report this review -

I enjoyed the hamburger I ordered. Prices are in line with other restaurants in Iceland, and overpriced compared with other developed countries in the world. The staff was quite nice.

I am NOT a person who goes to chain restaurants (one visit to a McDonald's in Amsterdam) but I was pleased and surprised by this place. Our waitress was from Spain, our host was from Ireland, and to food was actually very good. I loved the music.

Hard Rock Cafe is always on my 'hit list' when I travel and it's great to see one I'm Reykjavík. Whilst I enjoyed my food and the atmosphere I think the chains in Barcelona and Florence beat it. There's a great little venue downstairs where we saw a a couple of acts during Airwaves 2017 - it's a great venue if they have any more gigs in the future.

Not exactly authentic Icelandic cuisine, but you know what you're going to get. Usual great Hard Rock atmosphere and great selection of food and drink. Great service and fantastic location.

Friendly and engaging staff. The atmosphere is typical of Hard Rock Cafes everywhere. My veggie quesadillas tasted old and cardboardy, but the person I was with enjoyed his meal (salmon) very much.

We were here to have few drinks. Staff was nice but the drinks Oh my, the price seems fine until you get your drink. It is so small and the taste is not good. Been to much better hard rocks (Warsaw, Prague, Baku). Disappointed.

We've been to quite a few HRC's over the years so have a good basis for comparison!
This is quite a small building so was very busy when we visited, but seems to have been refurbished recently so very well decorated.
Service was quick and the waitress very polite. Food was some of the best we've had in an HRC.
Only downside as with most things in Iceland is the price. 7300isk for one main each and one desert between us was far too expensive.response / report this review -

Nice seats near sides and bar. Food quality is in line with other hard rock cafés so no downsides here. Service has potential for improving quality: time for taking orders after assigning a table, writing down and deliverey of the correct order, time to bus a table. Besides this, services was very polite and solved problems quick.

Great experience as expected from a Hard Rock cafe the staff was friendly with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The food was good I had the trio hamburger slider to try all three burgers on the menu which I was not disappointed with at all. As for the price compared to the rest of Reykjavik is extremely good value if you are visiting the area it's worth it 🖒🖒🖒

Great atmosphere. Staff are very friendly. Cool decor. Two downfalls for us. We ordered our food which was misplaced and the staff handled it very badly. We were questioned numerous times about our order and it felt as if they were trying to say we didn't order anything when we actually paid for the food up front with our drinks. It took an hour to get the food and hardly any apology afterwards.

Newly re-opened, we suspect. Very modern & clean. I felt like the staff, while friendly, were still getting to their feet--a bit slow in spots; even bringing out courses in the wrong order. But with a friendly, hard-working server & a complementary dessert some things are more easily overlooked. Pretty standard Hard Rock experience overall, & with the US to Icelandic exchange rate, lunch for 3 was just over over $100
