Great room. Comfortable bed Great lighting options. Good food at restaurant and nice breakfast. Large window for looking up at the stars and when the beautiful northern lights came there was a convenient door in our room directly to the outside.

I loved everything about Langaholt. First of all, this area is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. You really can't beat that. The hotel itself has a warm cozy vibe. We loved the food at the country-ish restaurant (very fresh), especially the desserts, which really made us happy! The more recently-built gust rooms are minimalist (no tv or phones) but stylish and comfy. Each one has a back door and a wee patio, which overlooks fields, mountains, and the glacier. We happened to be there at the time of the summer solstice, and really the sun never set. A few sheep wandered up close to our patio at around 3 a.m. It was magical.

I was rescued whilst hitchhiking along Route 54 near here. As the car passengers picked me up they said they were just stopping shortly for lunch and I was welcome to join them, having not eaten warm food for a few days after a stove complication, I jumped at the chance to join them.

The fish soup tasted like nectar of the Gods!

    I will return again.
