Great place to explore plus very interested to view the difference layers of snow and volcanic ash in the tunnel walls. Also the temperature inside is constant as just above freezing. The go anywhere ex army vehicle with its self adjusting tyres for snow and rocks etc is fantastic.

Great excursion, worth the trip. Awesome staff and fun tour guides. Crazy to be under 40 meters of solid ice.

This was a very cool experience. Just being able to see how the glacier forms from the inside is an experience you will remember. The trek through the tunnel was very easy since it is man made and well maintained. It was a little slushy inside but they do provide you with grips to put over your boots. The temp inside the tunnel wasn't bad esp since there was no wind. I would recommend wearing water proof clothes. Also, the tour does make a stop about halfway up for a bathroom break (outhouse in the snow) so no need to worry on that front.

Highly recommend. This was a highlight of our trip. I was 7 months pregnant and we had our 3 year old as well. Great for families.

Amazing excursion into the glacier's depths. I really thought it would be colder than it was. The guide was informative and entertaining. It was such a blast! I was also happy we had plenty of time to take photographs.

This was a lot of fun. They've carved a network of tunnels in a glacier so tourists can see the internal structure of it. We looked up into a crevasse and at layers of sediment. Kids ages 8 and 11 stayed interested.

Overall an unforgettable experience as you venture into a glacier. You can see the development of the glacier from the compression of years and I had the pleasure of a tour guide demonstrating the acoustics of a chapel built inside the glacier itself.

This was a great trip and our tour guide Thor was very informative and had an unusual, but entertaining, sense of humour. He also had a great singing voice.

This is a really cool experience. The drive to the glacier was a lot better than actually walking around inside the glacier. Make sure you have waterproof shoes. There are puddles in there.

The Into the Glacier tours are amazing! Make sure to have waterproof shoes because the floors inside can get pretty wet. Its an awesome experience that I would recommend for anyone!

Into the glacier will not fail to impress. The team took good care of us from the very start, and made sure we enjoyed our adventure. Dress appropriately, it was a bit chilly inside the glacier!

It was cool to walk in a glacier, but I don't think it was jaw dropping. They said they had artists help with lighting, but it was just some LEDs placed in the walls. It would have been nice if they changed colors or something. Overall nice experience though

Nice experience to go on and into the glacier, although we expected a more adventurous trip. It was well organised and the guides where very good, but we found it somewhat expensive.
