Such an amazing underrated hike. It really does take about one and a half hours to walk all the way to the coast but the feeling of accomplishment when you get there is overwhelming. 10/10 Would hike again.

I was there by bike. Extremely rocky track from the main road. Probably also for a car not the best road. Only for a off-road wehicles.

When in the the area, be sure to drive by but don't go out unless you have a high ground clearance vehicle. Nice and remote/quiet but mostly gravel roads to get there.

beautiful! from the road the lighthouse looks like it is 10 minutes away, 45 minutes later we realized we were wrong! worth the walk it is a surreal place

A very humbling drive along the northern coast. Gravel roads and great views of the Arctic ocean. We were in a Hyundai i10 and it was ok. Don't expect to make it to the lighthouse. We were within sight of it but even a big Toyota highlander turned around when they saw how awful the road was.
