  The monument is ok, but the waterfall next to it is incredible! So glad I stopped to check it out.

  On the way back from the town of Seyðisfjörður (just lovely to walk there), we stopped by the monument to explore the magnificent view of the fjord, and the passing river. I was there last month, so I'm guessing there's less snow now.

  Amazing view down the valley. This is the location for the longboard scene in _The Secret Life of Walter Mitty._
