Subtly stunning. A tour booked last-minute ended up being the highlight of an already glorious week in the westfjords. We spent an afternoon walking a gentle path around the island amongst newly hatched arctic terns, puffins returning with mouthfuls of sand eels and fish, and ambling sheep, surrounded by a panorama of breathtaking views.

Incredible place for wildlife! 80000 Puffins nest here in summer. The island is used as an Eiderdown farm Eider ducks are abundant. Seals also bask on the small beaches
