  Sel hotel deserves a 5 star rating simoly based on the great service one can expect to receive. The warm welcome and continued helo and tips provided by all the staff make it a great place to stay.   big room, great view, good breakfast They hot water was the natural heated springs and it smells sulfur. i have a good soak in the bathtub . They call us at night to view the northern lights .Nice to walk to the crater the across the street. there is gas station and souvenir shop beside the hotel.

  Very big rooms, great variety in breakfast (also for people with allergies). They use hot water from the naturally heated springs and it smells very strongly and awfully of sulfur. Hard to get used too. They call you at night if there’s northern lights in the sky. Nice to walk in the park across the street.

  Very friendly and service minded staff. Excellent breakfast. Wake-up call for Northern Light sighting. This needs an interior update to make it more up to date and stylish.

  Great hotel. A really good place to spot the aurora from. The hotel staff is really helpful, and can call to tell you when the aurora is particularly good in the evening.

  This spot was a gem - the room was so well-priced, and very cozy. The real seller for me was the complimentary hot breakfast, which had a huge collection of hot and cold selections. Very friendly and easy to check in/out of.

  Nice hotel! Our room was clean and the staff was very friendly. What I enjoyed most was that they offered a Northern-Lights-Wakeup service. Too bad it was so cloudy when we stayed here, so there was no need for them to wake us up.
  The breakfast buffet was great as well! The food was fresh and delicious - I would definitely stay there again.
