  So happy I found this nice little site! Was in a bit of a pinch and was sent here by the lovely people at Myvatn Nature Baths and was welcomed warmly to the campsite. Comparable rates and a clean warm bathroom. Grateful I found this lovely little gem!

  By far the most welcoming campsite we visited during our winter trip. We drove the extra distance to this site after being disappointed in the options near Myvatn. Owner was extremely friendly and offered tips for the local area and even went as far as to offer to wake us up if the Northern lights were out! The facilities were warm and clean with a nice little outdoor area to cook in. The campsite is smaller and quiet, located only a couple minutes off the ring road. Price was extremely reasonable with no extra charges for showers. Highly recommend for the wary traveler looking for a nice quiet place to rest!

  We arrived at short notice during winter, and had a wonderful experience at this camp site. The facilities were outstanding and the location was ideal to visit surrounding natural wonders.
  The owner was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend staying here, any time of the year.

  Free WiFi around the house. Warm water and showers. Kitchen was small and semi outside but great campsites, very secluded and lots of space. The hosts are very nice as well.

  Such a nice camp ground. We had a great stay, especially our car was out of battery the next morning , the host went out their way to help us, made sure we were taken care of. Highly recommended this campsite.

  Price is good. Nice hot shower. Surrounded by trees. One Electric oven in demand. The man who owns thinks he is à police officer / watchdog. Thats why 1 ⭐

  Great people. Lots of space and privacy. There's a small stove, that is free to use in the common area which is shielded from wind. There's also a nice toilet and free bathing facilities. But it could use a larger number of showers and toilets.

  Excellent campsite. Hedges have been planted to create private area for each group and also reduce wind and noise from other people. Toilets and showers are clean and well maintained, showers are included in the price. Cooking area is sheltered from wind and there is an electric grill and two hot plates - saved us some cooking gas. Also has a small hanging line around the cooking shelter.

  The best of 7 camping grounds we stayed during the trip. Big nice well-maintained. Beautiful country lane led us here. A bit hidden fro the main road which we enjoyed a lot. 2 WC and one shower per gender. 1500isk per person.

  It's beautiful and quiet, far enough from the city but still close enough to a gas station and a store. Very friendly staff and the price is really good.

  A warm welcome from the locals. At 750ISK a night, you can also use the bathrooms and the hot showers. It is even open during the winter. We recommend it!
