Fantastic hotel. Rooms are well equipped and modern. 2 hot tubs outside open until late are a great addition. Views over the inlet are amazing. Staff are excellent and all speak English fluently.

Our family celebrated my daughter's wedding at the Glymur Hotel a few weeks ago. The hotel staff made us feel like family and every detail of the weekend and the hotel were perfect.. The hotel is quaint, with magnificent views of the mountains and fjord. The service is outstanding and every room is delightfully decorated with it's our style. We stayed in a two bedroom villa which was perfect. The setting, service, food, and the hotel itself could not have been more perfect. The hot tubs overlooking the scenic view should not be missed. Please stay at this hotel when you visit Iceland. You will be very glad you did!

Very nice rooms, very good breakfast and a wake up service when there are northern lights in the night. We had great northern lights while dinner. It was a great experience. When you are in Iceland: Stay at least one night there!

This is a nice hotel with a decent restaurant. We stayed in one of the villas which had terrific views and was very comfortable. Giving it 4-stars instead of 5, only because it was an expensive place to stay and there were a couple of little things missing, like not knowing how to use the heating so the villa was a little cold (a little instruction manual would go a long way), the villa not having eg tea, coffee basics, etc. But on the other hand, the staff were helpful and we had a nice meal here on top of a very comfortable stay.
