I LOVED this horse ride! The guides really take a moment to find out about your background in riding, match you to the right horse, and make sure you're doing well throughout the ride around the farmland. The 'trolt' is intense! I won't lie, girls should wear a sports bra and EVERYONE should take ibuprofen the next day lol Wonderful adventure while in Iceland!
Excellent place and service! Riding tours just fantastic, in the unspoiled nature!
Convenient location. Close to all shops, restaurants. Bus station and all tour shuttles stop right out front. Two blocks to seawall, three blocks to Grand concert building. 24/7 grocery store right across street. Restaurant/bar/lounge downstairs.
The hotel is what you would expect for 3 stars. Rooms were basic but very clean. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The evening meals were very good 5 star. The breakfast was very basic.
Beautiful hotel. Extremely helpful staff. Tasty (but pricey) food.
Love the location of this place.clean, tidy, warm roomwas just opposite of hot tub.. Great, friendly and efficient staff members. Breakfast very simple, without cooked or fried food. Selection of hams, cheeses, spreads, porridge, waffle maker, amazing jamsGreat coffee. Really good place.
Loved this..friendly..small groupsgreat experienceworth it. We did a two hour tour of lava fields.
Great staff very friendly and a good mornings ride. Lovely lunch also.
tour not advised for beginner as the speed was too fast. doesn't feel safe as the horse gallop. fell from horse and there was no first aid kit, not even a plaster
The riding was great. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. We took the riding and relaxation which included lunch and spa. The lunch was not good at all and the "spa was not worth it at all. I recommend the riding, the rest you can find better places to go to.
The riding service was very good. They picked us up in Reykjavik and brought us back. The horses were assigned by expierence and we had nice guides. The light lunch was very good. Unfortunately the hotel was already fully booked, so we couldn't stay there overnight.
Great hotel. The food was excellent and some nights have a buffet. Breakfast was amazing. Would certainly go back.
Awesone hotel! Everythig was nice and clean and the staff were incredibly nice. The breakfast was good each morning. During the say we were able to see some of the horses the hotel has and they were nice and friendly.
The hotel and tour staff were amazing. They exceeded our expectations and we wish we had more time to stay there. We stayed two nights and did a six hour tour into the mountains to the hot springs. It was a beautiful scenic tour and my girlfriend got to experience all the Icelandic horses tolt. We wish we were still there. Thank you everyone at the hotel for helping us make memories that will last a life time.
Clean, breakfast is awesome with healthy selection. There's always hot water, coffee and tea at the counter whenever you need. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Great experience. Great horses. Great tours. Great food. Just a fantastic experience overall.
We couldn't get our room warm enough with the radiant heated floor. The room was adequate but the staff was wonderful!
We were next to a fire door, which was insanely loud anytime someone barged through (stopped me sleeping until about 2am in the morning). Breakfast was nice.
Good rooms, good location. Hot pool with natural spring water just outside the rooms. Restaurant need a small improvement for the breakfast and lunch. They offer nice horse riding with the stable just next to the hotel (same company). We did one tour of almost 3 hours, and as beginners we really enjoyed. Recommended
Great big rooms, clean. Good staff, good food and nice horse farm with horse theme hotel.
Only had lunch here. Very friendly staff. The lunch selections were really nice. Cauliflower soup was very creamy. Also, had a mustard base chicken salad that was great. Tuna salad and ham salad too were good, but not as nice as the chicken. :^)
