We stayed in a brand new cabin and although the door was fussy, it was cozy and served its purpose. I liked looking out over the lava flows to the lake.
A high price to pay for a parking space and admittedly warm toilets. The showers are a cramped communal affair, kitchen is a tent, and the free Wifi only extends to the nearest two parking spaces. Everything costs extra, even a plug socket to charge your phone for a few minutes will cost you 100isk.
Really nice campsite with good facilities. There was a problem with the hot water when we checked in, and a number of people in the reception office complaining, but the woman at the desk handled it all with impressive professionalism.
New and very nice clean bathrooms. Communal showers. Friendly front desk lady. Nice sink area, lots of space, good wifi near the reception area.
This camping is OK. Good geographical settings for tents (wind protection due to 'stairs' in the ground). But it's expensive in comparison with others, without any particular reason.
Great location and a cozy cottage.
Nice campsite. Clean and modern facilities. Kitchen and covered common area. Nice views. Icelandic style showers
Clean, with all facilities (that are hard to find in Iceland)..
Very nice spot where to stay close to the lake
10/10 would stay again
Was dreadful last summer
Nice and comfy place, only internet connection is not good
Friendly atmosphere and good location for Myvatn area sight seeing.
Nice view and a place to sleep. Bathrooms, kitchen and showers were very dirty and crowded. Please keep in mind this place is called 'lake of the midges' for a very good reason.
