Had ok stay in the guesthouse , ok breakfast not so much to chouse from for kids . we had our car on the parking Zone there and when we came back it had one broken window some one came and broke is so we were not happy with that they dont look so much after the cars there part from that was ok .fine staff there , but dont think we go there again .

Stayed here only for the night. Good and clean facilities. A supermarket is close by along the road. Handy to have a free shuttle to the airport and te delayed flight information on an lcd screen. Only thing, cause of the small walls it was a little bit noisy during the night.

Good location, very close to the airport. The room that we got was a little too small. It felt as if we were put up in an attic with sloping roof line. We couldn't stand properly in many locations of the room. Also, heating in our room was a little weak.

Breakfast was toast, cheese and ham to choose from. We booked a dayrate, got it confirmed, called one day in advance again to double check. Arrived at 6am got told there is no dayrate but its no problem we can stay till 6pm. payed full price, got kicked out at 1pm because they said there is no dayrate thanks a lot. Group Showers were clean, room was like a prison cell with nothing but a bible. Lack of communication. Wifi did not work as well.

Not a guesthouse. It's more a motel kind of thing, big and not very friendly staff. Room was ok, not very clean. Showers and wc also fine. Nice kitchen to make your own meal.

wonderful service for cyclist: they pick you up at the airport, they store your bike box and have a big room for mounting, and servicing your bike.

I loved my stay, the little bungalows are great. So I cannot comment on the other rooms in the hotel itself, I recommend the bungalows. The place is very clean and the staff are very helpful. When I return to Iceland and I hope to soon, I will definitely stay here again. I have told everyone how great your place is. Not to mention the wonderful staff. I really enjoyed my time in your beautiful country.

Nice place. We had an own little cabin. Every thing was in good shape and clean. Extra star from free airport shuttle. Receptionist at the morning was little rude.

Place was clean, and nice. Breakfast good, but there was nothing special. Customer service was mostly great, but in the morning we met someone who needs a bit of a practice in it.

Nice service, collects you from airport and brings you back. Breakfast easy but good, coffee, tea, orange juice, bread, jam, butter.. Rooms not soo cheap but first choice for late and early flights!

Whichever hotel or guest house you stay during the last 2 weeks of your Reykjavik/Iceland visit, it is probably worthwhile to stay close to the airport for the last two nights. The main reason is that this guesthouse provides free transport to the Blue Lagoon spa, you can therefore conveniently stay as long as you like at the Blue Lagoon, have your dinner etc., and still be able to get back late in the night back to this inexpensive hotel. You can also get free transport to the airport on a 1½ hourly basis. There is not much to see within a short walking distance of this hotel. But there is a small local supermarket within walking distance open until I think around 9pm at night. Just in case you want to have a barbecue in the evening. This hotel is very quiet and most people who stay at the hotel long term probably work at the airport. This hotel is not fancy but serves a simple help yourself buffet breakfast from 4am until 11am. No matter how early you fly you can still manage to eat before you go. I found the individual huts (room for at least two) situated behind the hotel, extremely quiet, rustic, without any threat from wild animals.

Pros: breakfast is great and served in a large area. Staff is helpful. The bathroom is great - spacious and v. clean. Close to market/grocery. Convenient for exploring the area. The room looks good and bedding is warm.
Cons: Very fashioned keys to lug around, rooms are basic - the window coverings are sparse and not adequate enough. The WiFi is horrible. Stairs, no elevator. Parking lot has lots of holes.
Note: the owner runs through there and doesn't even greet the guests. There is portion of the hotel that used to have shared bathroom, like a dorm.

It was clean and very cute! Easy in and out. Bathrooms have locks on them, but they are not in your rooms. Ample parking. Breakfast is also offered.

It was decent place 3 single beds with a sink in the rooms. Bathrooms are shared with the rooms but really nicely kept. Great service and great free rides to and from the airport. The breakfast was good as well fresh food toast/ham/jams/cereal/coffee/milk etc. This is a place for people that are looking to travel not for the stay-in. Really nice renovated got pcs for you to log in and lobby with a TV to relax. Also a kitchen for anyone looking to cook.

I regret getting a room here. The best part was the free ride back to the airport. I wish I stayed there cause the comfort in the guest house was terrible. The guy that picked us and some others up went inside, left us in the rain for 5 minutes while being on the computer waiting for us to realize to come in our self without an invitation. The rooms where so bad, for a 100 bucks you do not expect only 2 beds and nothing els beside a sink and wronly placed outlets not even close to the 2 beds in the room.
For this price you can get a way better.

Nice, home-town feel. Excellent staff. Allowed us to stay a little after checkout time because of only getting in from our flight at 7am. Clean rooms with single sink and shared bathrooms, but still love the place.
Rooms were a bit warm, but the windows open a little.
