Unbelievable experience, the best ever in my life. You must come at night in winter, soak yourself in the entire darkness and look up to the stars and aurora!! No other daytime scenery is comparable. A big thank you to the person who created this facility.

Went here just before sunrise. Had the whole place to myself and the water was amazing 😍 bring a bottle of water to drink so you wont get dizzy.

After some difficulty finding the turn off, because we decided to go later in the afternoon and the sun was almost set, we finally pulled in. No signs of markings on the side of the road, just look for the little dirt path off the main road on the coast side. Its a tiny muddy carpark with a row of rocks indicating where not to park and where to walk down.
The bath itself is behind a small rock formation, so hidden from the road/carpark.
But by far one of the best soaks I have had this trip. No one else showed up while we were there, and we were able to sit and warm up until the rain and wind picked up.response / report this review -

Stumbled on this at random and made for one of the high points of my trip to Iceland. Hot water, gorgeous view, what’s not to love? Careful, the wood and mud around the tub can be slippery (I fell! Because I’m awesome!) but there’s a perpetually running warm-water tap in the parking lot as well to rinse things off afterward!

Nice big bath next to the road. There are no signs so look at the point on the map and slow down ;) enjoy!

This is a nice hidden hot pot off the main road. We went in the middle of the night and had a beautiful view of the stars. Had there been auroras this would have been a great spot to watch them.

Water is hot, sun is bright. This lovely place is near the Ocean what makes it wonderful. Recommend to everyone and I always bathing here when visiting Iceland. Quiet and near the A1 road.

A beautiful location for a hot pot just off the main road. The water was very warm when I visited. The wood surface can get wet and very slippery so be careful. I ended up falling and cutting my thumb open on the plastic splash guard. Definitely worth a visit but be careful.

Amazing small bath. From Djupivogur heading south on Route 1, after 1-1,5 km you will see on the left a gravel road with a no camping and overnight stay sign. Park your car and just walk 50m to the bathtube behind the cliffs. There's a fountain at the parking lot. Don't miss it!!

Absolutely fantastic: quiet picturesque view over the bay. No change rooms or facilities of any kind, so plan accordingly. Water is quite hot! Get out often so you don't over heat.
