Very professional business and very very helpful. We had planned a tour for 13 people but dew to circumstances we have remained just 6. We had exchanged hundreds of mails to arrange the tour from the start and Georg and Karen helped us to make our dream trip come true. We totally recommend Discover Iceland because you can tell a good office from, when plans have to be changed, how flexible and efficient it can be.

The Northern Lights private tour was totally fantastic. This is by far the most amazing trip of my life. Iceland is a small, but a unique country. I also loved the super jeep tour experience with the Discover Iceland.

Enjoyed my Iceland luxury tour to the fullest this December

I came across Discover Iceland through their Instagram page.I was really attracted towards the amazing pictures they had on their page,so I decided to visit their website as well. Their website is so informative and after spending a little time on it, I was convinced to book my own luxury tour with them.

The experience was amazing and the tour operators were so friendly. it felt like having friends on my solo trip. I loved the country so much and I have come back with tons of memories.

Definitely will recommend checking these guys out for your Iceland Private Tour needs and packages.

Discover Iceland is the best tour operator if you are looking to visit Iceland. It does it all with care and proficiency. I got to know about it through a close friend. And exploring Iceland with Discover Iceland was a great experience. They made it easy to explore most of Iceland and to visit the popular spots along with a few hidden gems. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Iceland.

I just love Iceland. It was on my travel list from quite a long time, so I visited Iceland with my family last month. We booked Discover Iceland as our tour guide, and their service was really good and helpful. We spent 3 days in the country and saw the places I used to see in the pictures. The guide drove us to the Golden Circle and South Coast in their jeep, it really was a refreshing journey. Thanks to Discover Iceland team for their support throughout our stay. Hope to come back soon.

We took the Spicy Golden Circle minibus tour in July. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland! The minibus was very nice and comfortable (it was a full bus!). Our guide Guðmundur Yngvi Hraunfjörð was outstanding. He was so nice, had a good sense of humor, and was full of information about everything we were seeing. I highly recommend this tour. Worth every penny to me!

Bjorn really made this trip fun! This tour beats the others in the amounts of stops and the personal attention. Because it is a small, but very comfortable mini style bus, we were all friends by the end of the trip and Bjorn treated us as family. The added stops just meant we saw more, learned more, and tasted more of Iceland. Highly recommend!

The tour covered both the famous Golden Circle and the less visited Landmanalaugar which was fantastic! Our guide Arni was absolutely amazing - informative, polite, attentive, very friendly and a great driver. We really enjoyed our tour for the 3 days and will definitely recommend the same should you visit Iceland!

Incredie day tour of the golden circle. Our guide, Arnar, did a spectacular job. Nice balance of history, geology and personal anecdotes on living in Iceland. Off the beaten path sites were possible because of the size of the 4x4. We opted to include snowmobiling on Langjokull pretty incredible experience. Wear hiking boots and clothing. Take rain gear.

The Spicy Discover Island Tour was the highlight of our trip! With only one day in Iceland, this seemed like the perfect way to see as much of the Golden Circle and try a variety of local delights. Best kept secret is doing the tour the reverse direction!

I've already recommended the trip to others headed to Iceland in the coming year!

The Jokulsarlon Tour is a MUST DO when in Iceland! I booked this tour a month in advance and Diana was EXTREMELY helpful throughout the entire process. I only had one of the 2 days available to book and she made sure this happened for me. I mean, you don't get this kind of excellent customer service anywhere else! ;) Ivar was our tour guide for this tour and made our experience THAT much better! He was very delightful and knowledgeable. Our group was a total of 5 people. Though the tour was 14 hours, it sure did not feel like it and it was worth it. The nature was surreal. I cannot even begin to describe what it was like seeing the glacier lagoon in person! You can NOT miss this!!

We booked the tour for 16th March 2017 our first day in Iceland.
We booked the mini bus tour because it was more personal than the large coach tours that are on offer.
We did not know our pick-up address before we arrived in Iceland so Linda from Discovery Iceland contacted our apartment provider and got the information and then emailed me our address and the pickup time to within 15 minutes, this saved us a lot of hassle and we did appreciate this extra touch.
Gunni the red was to be our guide for the evening he arrives at our location (20.45) and carried on picking the rest of the tour up, I think there were about 12 people on the tour.
All the tour operators cannot promise that you will see the lights on any given night but they try their best and Gunni was in constant contact with other drivers to find out if the lights were appearing anywhere.
By 21.30 we got our first sight of the lights they were not fantastic because of some light pollution but you could tell they were there, Gunni moved onto another location which was perfect and we watch the lights for over an hour, Gunni did say it was unusual to get to see the lights so early in the evening.
Our next stop we did not see the lights but we had a fantastic view of the stars and Gunni was explaining which star was which and giving us some information about them Facts and Viking folk lore he also got us a hot drink of Chocolate.
Our last stop we got to see the lights again and got to listen to more stories from Gunni.
We had a fantastic time on our evening and Gunni was outstanding, he took photos for people helped with their cameras etc.
The evening was bitterly cold so cold my IPhone shut down, and it did not take long for your face and fingers to freeze so my advice is to really make sure you have wind/water proof clothing on a good hat and face cover and some linings in the soles of your shoe, you are stood about for long periods and the cold can get into your feet.
It was a fantastic experience for me and my wife and it was made all the better by using a great tour company with excellent staff who go the extra mile.

We had the most incredible experience. Our guide, Tjorvi, was amazing; he worked so hard to find the northern lights for us and we are so grateful! He was fantastic, he drove for hours to find a gap in the very thick cloud cover. He was so interesting and knowledgable about the northern lights and Iceland in general and he really really did work extremely hard last night.

I recommend booking the minibus 'Disco' tour; there is a small group of 15 people and more flexibility in where the driver can get to. Most big coach tours were cancelled last night due to cloud cover in the one area they go to but because we were a small group and small van we went out anyway as it was easy for us to zip across the countryside to find the right spot.

The service of Discover Iceland has also been super friendly and helpful every time I've been in touch this week so a big thank you to everyone there too! Our first tour was unsuccessful so we got the chance to go out again for free and luck was on our side!

The hot chocolate and biscuits are a nice touch ;)

    Thanks guys!

Having done both big and small tours, we can tell you that this small, private tour is definitely the way to go! Iceland's is unpredictable, and being in a small-but-powerful superjeep is the best way to get around. Our guide Arnar was funny, kind, informative, and made sure we had an awesome time. He gauged our appetite for excitement and went from there: we crossed a river, just for fun; went both up and down some 30+ degree slopes, and just had a lot of fun. Snowmobiling on a glacier was definitely a highlight of our entire trip. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Axel was incredible! He was really knowledgeable, entertaining, and made the experience for our group especially fun. He was really invested in making sure everyone had a great time and even helped us less-savvy folks with taking amazing photographs. He was really well-prepared and brought extra flashlights and tripods for us. Also gave us hot chocolate!
