A fabulous little hostel just across the main road from the harbour and ferry. The rooms are very tasteful & charming, the dorm spacious, and the staff are really nice. There's a small kitchen with a fridge and single hotplate downstairs, but you can visit the excellent café 100m south where the road forks, Gísli Eiríkur Helgi (from 11-18 in winter) which is a great place to hang out and watch life go by in this beautiful little village. (I also heard the pool in Dalvik is great but didn't get to try it.)
Quirky hostel (and very reasonably priced), nice owner who also run a cafe down the street. Go and try their home made breads and delicious fish soup!
Like the antique decor. All appliances you need to prepare a meal is available but if you do not want to cook while on holiday Restuarant Gregor's just around the corner with great food. Parking is available in front of the hostel. The liquor store just across the street and a little way down the street you will find a grocery store. In the opposite direction is company Artic tours for Whale watching and at Samskip at the habour you get your tickets for the ferry for your booked Artic Tour to Grimsey.

Just great place to stay in Dalvik. Love it
Très chaleureux accueil de Bjarni. Maison & chambres spacieuses et très bien décorées.
Das hotel is un awesome
