The guesthouse is very nice and cosy place. Everything you need is provided. With clean and warm bedrooms and bathroom.

The guesthouse looks quiet old from the outside, but the inside is a lot nicer than you might think. It is of course not very new but the staff keeps everything very clean, so it is still in good condition. The breakfast was good, but nothing special.

Three stories building with narrow stairs. Dining area is large and solidly planned. Rooms are ok, but ours had a bit of a worn smell to it. It's similar to a fraternity house in the layout and setup.

Nice guest house in Sauðarkrökur, operated by Hotel Tindastoll down the road. Located in the center of town with immediate access to the Hard Wok Cafe and the bakery across from it. Clean rooms with (in our case) separate single beds. As is usual with guest houses, the bathrooms are on the hallway, but there are several of them, so there's no long waiting to be expected.

rooms are unkind. shared bathrooms are plain, but clean. breakfast is okay. the kitchen, that can be used by everybody is very clean, large and fully equipped and thus a big plus.
