We were the only camper that evening, warm kitchen and toilets are in the same small building at camp site, shower was not free, 200 kr only for shower, 400 kr including outdoor hot tub, there are two small tubs and one small swimming pool. Hot tub water temperature was very good, comfortable sitting in tub as well. Peaceful area. Campsite gets pitch black at night.

One of the best places for camping in Iceland, friendly staff, use of kitchen included, showers extra (incl. Pool and hot tub), rafting is also nice, however family rafting is very calm. Very quite place.

This is a great outfitter for glacial white water rafting in Iceland. Took my whole family on a trip with them one morning. They completely outfitted us with everything we could possibly need including dry tops, neoprene booties and gloves. All the equipment was in excellent condition. They shuttle bussed up through the valley and we could see the river below and then they gave us a very, very thorough safety briefing before venturing off for a two-hour glacial Whitewater Adventure. The Nepalese guides were extremely competent and we felt very comfortable having them in charge. Very talented kayak chase boat was always right nearby just in case. Terrific bunch of Gods at this Outfitter. The shuttle bus driver was even good enough to scramble down the rocks and take photos of us which he then sent to us later. Hot lamb soup at the take out to warm us up. Oh, and then hot Jacuzzis once we got back. Love this place. Great white water too.

Sehr einfach, aber es ist alles da,was man braucht. Frühstücksangebot war für uns vom Angebot her in Ordnung. Mit angeboten wird River-rafting, für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittenen, Anfänger heißt aber nicht Kinder unter 16.

We had a great time river rafting with Bakkaflöt. We took the easier river as we are beginners (West Glacial River). All the equipment was very good and the guides were terrific.
When the tour ended we went in the hot tub in Bakkaflöt guesthouse (included in the price) which was just what the doctor ordered after having been in a cold river for more than an hour :)
