This place is really nice. The bathrooms are really clean and being able to take a shower for free (as long as ypu are staying in the camping) is a great advantage that we didn't find anywhere else in Iceland. The owner is really kind and offers great service. Totally recommended!

Can't unterstand the negative reviews. Excellent price for a great location. Cottage has easily enough space for 6 persons for a riddicioulos cheap price. Absolute recommendation. Criticizers obvious don't know iceland price conditions for something like this..

Place was neat and tidy. Spent new years eve here. It's a good spot to watch fireworks if staying over night. The petrol station is just across the road. There are showers and toilets which are clean however they are seperate from the cottages and will need to walk. Over all the place was very nice and the owner was helpful.

We stayed at cottage I for a night. Locatiom was good right beside the ring road. Can fit many people. However, do not that there is no wifi in the cottages! Cooking equipment provided. Water here has strong sulfur smell. Overall a comfortable stay.

We were disappointed with these cottages. Our family needed 2 cottages, which we were able to get side by side. Very small, barely able to fit 4 people each . No room to set out small suitcases. Not enough dishes, cups, silverware. Some of the cookware was dirty. To use toaster, coffeemaker, microwave, you had to unplug what was already in the outlet. One at a time. Undercounter-Refrigerator, stove, sink all in one unit. Very small. Outside patio furniture was ALL broken & unusable. The grill wouldn't light. Bathroom floor was wobbly in one unit, showers we both dirty and pipes were exposed in the other unit. Will not stay here again.

*CAMPSITE REVIEW* I found the campsite good. Although it is near a road. They had showers with hot water and plugs in the bathroom areas.

We booked two 2-bedroom units for 4 families. One is ok. Another is actually like a studio with 4 beds (bunker bed ) so we had to find other accommodation in a hurry. Missing curtains, broken door handle, not well maintained.

Amazing locations with private hot tub that easily fits 6 people. Bbq grill is available and the cottages are right by the river.

Spacious cabins, but they're not super modern and the kitchen supplies leave everything to be desired. Felt a little bit gross and the water smelled and tasted of sulfur

We received an upgraded cottage for the same money. Beds were good and the cottage had all the essentials and more, including a hot tub (which we didn't use).

Got what I expected for the price. Place was clean except for mold at the base of the shower head alot of mold. Beds were comfy, linens were fine, kitchen worked, TV worked, couch comfy. But my biggest peeve, was that the water is not potable. It smells, and tastes (I tried), like a rotten egg. Very apparent it is well water with large amounts of Sulphur in it. And I smelled worse after the shower than before it.

At the back of the campsite, you have a very nice view over the river. Campsite has pretty good facilities: showers, heated bathrooms and a room to take care of babies (including baby-tub).
