Pleasant place for a coffee and snack. On a nice day be sure to sit outside and enjoy the sun. The building also hosts a poetry room for local performances, I believe.

Beautiful place in a beautiful town. Great staff, very helpful, friendly and smiley. Very good coffee and amazing chocolate cake and even taking care with the presentation. Icelandic normal prices. Very recommended place.

Fish soup was delicious and the fried cod and chips was the best and freshest "fish and chips" I ever had. They also have Strongbow cider which is rare to find in Iceland.

The food was really good, they definitely serve more than a typical cafe. We got the lamb chops, sam's special, soup and burger. They were all delicious and quite filling.

I think this was the best food that i had in my life. Fish so fresh that you can almost feel fresh Icelandic sea, fries perfectly fried feel so healthy. I wish that i could come back every Friday ;)

Fantastic, cosy little cafe with the usual Icelandic menu (burgers, samdwiches, pizzas etc.) Food was great and cheap (by Icelandic standards) ~15 euros for the basic cheeseburger and much less for a personal pizza. Highly recommended if you need something nice and cheap to eat in this small town

The "Joe's favorite" was incredible. The garlic sauce and the bread were the best combination I have ever had in my life. The flavor was subtle despite the fresh garlic cloves that were in the sauce. Well worth the money, I would recommend getting an order of the fries in addition to your meal. They are flavored very well with little salt. The 4 stars is from the fact that the crab was artificial crab meat, not fresh from the ocean like I was hoping. Despite that they still created a fantastic meal and a very inviting atmosphere. Our waitress was very kind and helpful with recommending food and drinks.

It was a drenching rain last Friday when we were hiking around Sveinsstekksfoss. We were looking for some dry activities after the hike and stopped here. Great food and friendly wait staff. A wonderful experience. What more could you ask for. Oh, and the price was reasonable.

Great food at a reasonable price. The place as a familiar feeling, almost as if you're a guest at someone else's house. The view is also amazing. Highly recommend.
