Wonderful buffet. room we were in was not very clean alot of dust and splatters on the telephone, carpets were very dirty and there was mold and dust/dirt in corners of the bathroom.

Very bad experience in this hotel.. the receptionist are not nice..we arrange our booking on the telephone..they told us that they will give us a big room but they didn't make what they said on the telephone..instead of big room they give us small and telling us that it was their Club room..we know that it's not club room because we've been in their club room 1 week ago..this will be the last time that we will check-in in this hotel.. they are liar!!👎👎👎

Brought a group of thirty unloaded bags only to have a knock at the door from one in the group very upset they had bed bugs the staff moved them to three rooms which also had bed bugs. We asked our group to examine there rooms all were dirty and most of them had bed bugs. Very unacceptable! The staff told the family to find another hotel

It is a poor, old-fashioned hotel.
There is not always hot water and pebbles.
When there is wind the doors and windows are not sealed.
Poor service and food.
Room 1031 did not approach.

Probably the worst Crowne Plaza I have visited (and I've stayed at a lot). This place is really run down and the staff, in general, are plain rude. The air conditioning in my room smells of mildew and the standard of cleanliness seems poor. WiFi is atrocious. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Very nice hotel, very comfy beds! This is a good choice if visiting by car as is easy to access and then you can just park & leave car as this hotel is very close to station so you can take the light rail in towards old city

The hotel is well located for the government quarter, the central bus station and the Israel Museum, a bit far away from the center of town. Much used by tour groups it was once considered a 5-star hotel but is nit that well maintained. Food is excellent and plentiful, service good

Don't be fooled by the lobby. The rooms are gross. The sink in our bathroom was clogged and dirty and the toilet either barely flushed or ran for 15 minutes. When I unfolded my towel after showering, I found a long piece of hair that certainly wasn't mine or my boyfriend's, so gross, I ended up having to dry off with my t-shirt. The desks were dusty and there was either blood or chocolate smeared on the curtains.
One of the days my boyfriend's sister found boxers in her room after they had cleaned it, and when she told the floor manager that she found a random pair of boxers in her room he laughed and asked her "so how did they get there?" What!? That's the opposite of how he should have responded.
They don't give you a bottle of water in the room and there are no vending machines. The minibar, which maybe worked when the hotel was built, does not work, in case you want to buy and save cold beverages, and they still have a old sticker saying the minibar is only to store their junk and you have to pay 20 shekel to STORE YOUR OWN FOOD IN IT. There is a bar in the lobby, where everything is insanely expensive and is not open after a certain hour or on Saturdays. So if you're thirsty in the summer in Israel, good luck.
The breakfast is also seriously disappointing everything is dry and tasteless except the omelettes, which they don't serve on Saturday.
Overall Saturday is a nightmare. Aside from breakfast, there's no where to go so everyone stays at the hotel and there are children running around everywhere with seemingly no parents, or if they ARE around, they're not watching.
Since we were scheduled to check out on Saturday, they told us we could check out later because of Shabbat. However, after regular check out time, our keys no longer worked and we had to get new ones every time we wanted to get back into the room again before leaving.
We had a nice weekend overall, but definitely not thanks to the hotel. Stay somewhere else if you can!

We stayed at the hotel on our first visit to Jerusalem. I would have given this hotel a higher rating if housekeeping paid more attention to cleaning after previous guests. The food was good. The downstairs shops had great deals, especially Sammy, we made a friend for life with him! Decor was beautiful, but dusty and obviously due for a thorough sanitizing cleaning in the rooms. People with allergies will suffer. Not vacuumed nor dusted, just wiped down in certain spots. My husband found an entire bag of popcorn spilled underneath the bed. Fortunately for us, we were touring all day and spent less than 3 waking hours in our rooms, but had it been a resting vacation, we probably would have checked out the first day. Would return if disinfectant is used after each person's stay. Not trying to get sick while on vacay!

Great service. Reservation by accident was for 1 person instead 4. Manager and front desk clerk were extremely nice and upgraded my room to junior suite and offered to make the couch. Great experience.

Expensive but yet very low in standard Hotel in Jerusalem. Rooms are not very clean, stains in the carpet and broken furniture. Breakfast is big and has a rich choice of local specialities but it is also filled with people (school classes?) so the noise level is high. Staff is ok but not great. Even the one star could easily be cut in half.

The good: the rooms are big. There's swimming pool and the location is good.
The bad: the hotel does not maintained properly. The hotel and the restaurant are not clean enough. The rooms and the bathrooms require renovation. The noise isolation is not good you can hear everything from the people in the hall and elevators. The dishes in restaurant are dirty. Some waiters in the restaurant didn't understand English or Hebrew. It took me three waiters and 15 minutes to get a simple coffee. In general the staff are helpful but not too friendly.

In general the hotel is over priced based on the facilities and all the above.

I was booked in here by my company. Colleagues laughed when they heard where I had been put, saying that it was dreadful. I was determined to prove them wrong. It seemed fine at first, but then the lack of hot water, a whistling sound from around my window frame and an overpowering smell of cleaning fluid all made me conclude that maybe the hotel is a bit past it's best and in need of a makeover. Of the four of us staying at this hotel, I was the only one with any complaints, so keep that in mind too.
