I don't know why I am being asked to rate my visit here as I haven't actually been to Westport House caravan and camping park. Google keeps asking me to rate places that I haven't been to. Some kind of scam, perhaps?
Great day out for the family. It really suits younger children, 4 to 10
We had a lovely few days here! Plenty for the children to and for different age ranges. Staff were lovely and helpful. Site well maintained
Great place for kids and for people who love history. Grounds are lovely and plenty of areas to walk and to have picnics. Great scenery.
Our family have adored this place since our childhood. It's fantastic reliving our childhood now with our kids camping. It's what memories are made of. Out door fun, action packed, great for walks, family gatherings, facilities fantastic and great place to bring your bikes to explore the local area. Pizza is amazing especially Gracy's feta cheese & rocket. Westport is now an annual event for the family to unite.
Was a good day enjoyed everything we could do on our day pass but you have to pay extra for some other rides for example 4 euros extra each on top of day pass to go on the big wheel and its cash only at the rides disappointing.House,Swan ride,Train and slides my daughter enjoyed though.
Very commercial! You will wind up paying for EVERYTHING! and its expensive too! I was surprised to see the toilets were free! With the way the place is going you will have to pay just to walk around the grounds! Shame.
It's a great camping site. All the facilities are well maintained. The toilets and shower areas are cleaned regularly throughout the day. There was hot water to clean utensils. There are lot of drinking water stations too. The people at reception are friendly and allowed me to use the freezer. The pub is great as well - good food and music! They let me and my friends play cards at their table.
Fabulous spot. Great for the family. Bring money !!
Lovely town and a well kept site. A boisterous, noisy atmosphere which wasn't great for us with very young children. I'd have liked to have had more information about the age/height restrictions for the adventure park online though- our boys are too young for most of the activities. We will return when they're a bit older though.
House and grounds well kept. The amusements were only open for a couple of hours and they were very expensive. The camp site has very uneven hard stands but other than that it's good all round.
