I visited The Helm a couple of times over the summer and I was very impressed with the service and food every time. Gorgeous seafood options as well as steak etc. The portions were very generous too. Lovely location and nice atmosphere. Good job to all the staff and management. Very busy most times I passed near by so a reservation is advisable especially in the evenings or at the weekend.

The Helm is such a heart warming, charming & friendly pub & restaurant. Each time we visit we always stop to have a portion of their amazing fresh crab claws. Vinny, you made our kids night when you gave us a little bag of tricks for around the camp fire. I hope the next time we're back Mayo will take home SAM! Your sons and staff are fantastic. Keep up the great work!

The apartments were spot on with lovely views of the harbour. The pub/restaurant was recomended for it's food and atmospherethey not wrong. Monkfish to die for. A special mention to the staff. Couldn't have been any friendlier. Already looking at next year
