Worst host ever! No flexibility with check in time possible. I had to find another place to sleep, because it is not possible to check in from 6:30 pm or later. They should get a key-box, if it is not possible to check-in during their 2! hour check-in - time. Dont book this B&B. Want to ruin your holiday? Give it a try!

I thought the view would leave me speechless but instead it was the attitude of the host! She had a go at us for arriving late after our 6 1/2 hour drive without asking why we were late or expressing compasion or concern and said we were lucky to have our room still! Being made to feel uncomfortable ruined the atmosphere from the start. Continental breakfast selection poor. Not enough tea and milk in room. Water runs brown from the tap but only 1 small bottle of water provided. Shower too small! Rooms are not well soundproofed, you can hear every footstep and toilet use from the room above. Cash only form of payment is inconvenient with nearest cash point 20 min drive. The host is not a local and maybe if you are French you would be made to feel more welcome. Host talks about you in French thinking you can not understand.Thank god we only stayed one night!

Upon arrival we were greeting with an unpleasant moody woman who give us an earful for being a bit late. We explained we had a 6 hour drive to get here but she was having none of it. No Lee way and not very understanding. She was not a local woman and I would much recommend staying with a local. Secondly we were forced to decide our breakfast the night before on the spot which was a bit abrupt. Thirdly the water is yellow. Apparently it's safe but that is the first time I have seen urine like water come out of a tap. Finally, you strictly have to pay with cash only which is very awkward. She takes no card/PayPal payment so we were made to drive to the town and back and waste time of our day to satisfy this woman who is clearly behind the times and hasn't worked out how to use basic modern technology and use card payment. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Very nice view on stunning sky road. Rooms are large and clean. Irish breakfast is very good. Continental breakfast is ok but jams/juices are all industrial.
The B&B would be very good if you did not hear the neighbours talking or snoring. Acoustic is the key issue of the house.
But the view is so nice that you will forget about it

A nice location with a kind host. Rules are a little strict, don't forget to read them before booking.
The big issue is the absence of acoustic isolation, especially if you're at the ground floor you can hear the upstairs guests walk in the room, snoring, going to the bathroom too bad !
The Irish breakfast is abundant, the continental one could be a little more generous.

I had a reservation but got lost and got there later than the entrance time. I apologised but they refused to listen and left us (two women) to sleep on the car on a chilly night in the middle of nowhere. That was bad enough, but next morning my friend asked them for a toilet (mind, this was the only place in miles and we had slept in the car all night) and not only they refused it but closed the door in her face and threatened us with the police if we didn't leave immediately. I've never experienced such aggressive and disrespectful treatment in my life.

This place was hosted by a kind french lady who was very helpful. She pointed us to the best places to go in clifden and which parts of the Atlantic Way and Sky Road to take and which to avoid. The full Irish breakfast was delicious, you havent lived until pouring milk into a cup at the Waterfront Rest. The view was stunning. Only negatives were the very slow wifi which was on only occasionally.
