Cosy hotel in connemarra, perfect for modern boutique wedding, that is if you don't mind being in to middle of nowere, but that part of the charm

They describe here as 'A stress free zone' well it really is. With the beauty of Connemara all around, a lake, the Atlantic ocean and rugged views on the doorstep one needs to take the car nowhere. The turf scented atmosphere of peace is all pervasive and the food is delicious. The staff are efficient and friendly and there are an abundance of cosy nooks and crannies in which to settle with a book. Lovely quiet bedroom, we were lucky as outs looked out on both the sea and the lake. The interior is classic Arts and Crafts with many fine details of that movement. Lovely in every way.

It's one of the most welcoming hotels I've stayed in for a long time.The atmosphere,the accommadation,the food and location and value are all superb.Above all the staff are friendly,helpful and couldn't do enough for us,a real gem in beautiful part of Co.Galway.Cant wait to go back.

Fabulous views. Friendly staff. Quiet! My one sour taste? Wifi service needs an upgrade. Apple products would not work anywhere in the hotel. Android phone either and tablets could get service but they cut out all the time, even in the public rooms. Service in room is awful. Please upgrade.

Stunning setting between lake, sea and mountain. Golf, tennis, horseriding, biking, walking. Historic hotel has excellent chef and every comfort.

The bar staff was super friendly and the food was tasty. Also - some of the best scones I've ever had. Didnt stay in the hotel, but at least the lobby part looked really cozy :) and the location is amazing.
