Kitchen dirty, trash cans constantly full and badly equipped, comfy beds, perfect bathroom.

We had a 5 beds room for a 100. Great burger at the restaurant, good sleep and a good tip on where to go hiking.

Love the place. Very conveniently located. Close to the little center and park entry, but still 100 meter outside the center of the village, providing quietness and restful environment.

Charming building well decorated. Room are a little bit small, but still absolutely correct.
Few things were broken (flush button, mirror), which is the reason for the 4 stars.

Matt was fantastic! Very humorous, helpful, and informative. He made our family's stay in Connemara enjoyable. The hostel has nice accommodations, a homey - warm atmosphere, and is conveniently located near the entrance to the national park.

Some of the best food we've eaten in Ireland, the sea food chowder in particular is magnificent. If you're cycling the Connemara loop, this is the ideal place to stop off for a top notch lunch.

Spent two nights here with some friends for a wedding being held up the road in Rosleague Manor, and it felt like home! More like a small hotel, the rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean, cosy and fantastic value. The staff were cheerful and helpful. And breakfast was a delicious feast with plenty of choice and fancy teas. It's not included in the room price but well worth paying for, and there is a lovely kitchen to cook and sit in, with a nice selection of books. You can also feel free to bring your own drinks into the kitchen. It's just under a half hour walk (if stopping to take photos of the beautiful scenery on the way) to Rosleague Manor Hotel (though I wouldn't do it at night without torches and bright clothing) and right near the entrance to the Connemara National Park too. Perfect location, perfect place to stay and relax.
