Pure luxury from the moment you step out of your car. My only complaint is the outside walk to the spa and leisure centre. I could live with this walk during the summer because the service, rooms and views were excellent but I'd imagine it would be cold doing it during the winter. Apart from that I would highly recommend The K Club, a perfect place for relaxation, comfort, peace and quiet!
Have stayed here a few times, lovely quiet location, very friendly helpful staff.
Last couple of times we came here we brought our two sons aged 12 and 17 .
Not incredibly child friendly and sometimes getting fed is a challenge, times for food is not practical to say the least.
I have noticed also a lot of the staff are not even aware of the hotel amenities and tend to have to ask another for advice, breakfast time is another are of contention, waiting for a table and then waiting for a coffee while your breakfast goes cold.I don't want to knock this completely as it is an impressive hotel with amazing views and amenities.give it a try yourself.
Nice course. Smurfit is my favourite. Skip food. Not nice and v expensive for what it is.
Attended for a wedding. Stunning building in a gorgeous setting with rich and classical interior. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Huge property, vast garden, lawns and famous golf course. Lovely people, great food. It was an awesome stay. Lots of activity. Fishing, shooting, golf etc. N8ce rooms, food too good and very courteous staff.
Great hotel for a wedding. Fantastic reception rooms looking out over acres of manicured lawns, and a short riverside walk to a huge dining room.
Fantastic hotel. The best bed EVER and the friendliest staff I have ever come accross. Highly recommended.
Played the Palmer course last week and it was a really tough but fair challenge. If your not straight you've to take your medicine and move on. Well maintained and good looking track , only downside was that some of the fairways were very soft but food nice in clubhouse too
Seriously disappointed with Thai restaurant experience. Hotel lovely.
Excellent food brilliant staff very attentive lovely grounds and beautiful views of the river liffey
A victim of their own success, the K Club comes with a great reputation however during my stay, the service felt more like a 3 Star than a 5 Star. Maybe just bad timing, but I can only tell it as I see it. Better luck next time?
Went for afternoon tea and have stayed previously.
The food itself was lovely, well presented and with satisfying portions.
The staff are very accommodating and really do make the visit warm and inviting.
The service at afternoon tea was a bit slow to begin with but nothing to worry about.
Overall it was very enjoyable, the ambiance of the room was great and the tea served was exceptionally good.
Great place for events.
Good catering and nice big rooms overlooking the golf course.
The bars for after work are classic and have very professional service.
