Amazing playlist (Climax Blues Band, Gilbert O'Sullivan, and more) and great beer in a really comfortable trad pub. The bar man who served me had a lovely singing voice too, as he idly sang to himself while pouring my pint. Very nice.

Good Dublin pub. Guinness is very good and service was quick even though it was fairly packed on a Friday after work.

Didn’t stay here but had a bunch of Guinness. Probably one of the better pints I had in Ireland. No table service so order at the bar and take it to a seat.

We stayed 2 nights in room 14 at the front overlooking the Liffey. Beautiful view, a bit noisy late at night but then it is a very popular pub. The room was clean and beds very comfy, the shower hot. Breakfast ok plenty of tea and toast. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. A great price for a city centre B&B, hotel over the road was double the price. Good location for everything.

You will love this place! The breakfast dining room alone is fabulous!

Decent quality pints but the staff are really some of the worst barmen in Dublin - all, bar one, are very rude and no craic. The best thing about this place is the location and some of the decor.

Decent, but not amazing! It's only really good for sunny days after work pints!

The Ferryman Hotel is a really lively place to go for a drink after work. We went with family (all over 18). The music was quiet enough that we could chat but loud enough to hear (a balance that a lot of places seem to struggle with). Will be going again.

Top place especially after a gig in the 3 arena, a great little stop-off on your way back into town. Bar staff are on the button and make sure they know who's waiting and where you are in the queue.some of the most attentive bar staff I've seen working.

Very nice traditional Irish bar, it was very busy when we went. The drinks were good but like everywhere in Dublin they were on the pricey side.

Fantastic spot! Great food, great selection of drinks and very friendly staff! I had been here many years ago at a work event where we wanted to show up something a bit Irish: beef and Guinness pie and live uilleann pipes. Last Christmas, I had an event to organise and went to them. The staff (especially Lisa and Bill) were brilliant! We were upstairs in the Dining Room for a buffet dinner. Everyone had a fantastic night enjoying the food, decor and location. Highly recommend the place!

Classic Pub just on the edge of the modern Grand Canal offices. Good Guinness and a decent selection of other beers on offer. Too crowded on the ground floor? The downstairs is about the same size and usually less crowded.

If you want a place to stay / a bed to sleep in, and don't have any other requirements for an hotelroom, than this is a great place to stay. But everything just looked a bit old & dirty. If you want a bit more comfort I would suggest going to one of the other hotels nearby.

Price really wasn't bad and the breakfast was good. Staff is really friendly and nice. Also I didn't hear a sound from the pub downstairs eventhough I stayed their on a Thursday and a Friday night.

So, stay here if you are alright with less comfort / luxury than a normal hotel room.
