Absolutely terrible. We arrived at 2:10 for 2:30 check in and were promptly yelled at that the (apparently only) girl who does check in was on break and we needed to wait in the lobby for the next 20 minutes. The lobby was full of screaming children, a group of whom found delight in kicking the back of the chair I was in. Check in girl came back and we were told our room wasn't ready yet, but it absolutely would be within 10 minutes and she would come over and tell us. 30 minutes later we went back to the desk and apparently our room was indeed ready she just hadn't let us know. Finally get to the room and it is garbage. There are cracks in the walls and the bed feels like lying in cardboard. Absolutely would not recommend this to anyone unless I hated them and wanted to ruin their vacation.

Neither impressed or disappointed overall. Better value in food at many other places. Good nothing special or out of the ordinary.

We stayed in the Ardilaun 8th of October 17. We really enjoyed our stay. We were greated by a lovely lady in reception. Our room was in immaculate condition , the bar staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was first class very fresh and plenty of choice. We couldn't recommend the Ardilaun highly enough.

We had a delicious lunch, portions were bigger than expected, But really tasty!! We had The avocado & crab salad along with the calamari and a couple of yummy desserts. All were well presented and great value. Staff were ran off their feet with the annual holistic fair but this did not deter The service. I'll be back!! :-)

Have attended a number of functions throughout the years here. Was particularly impressed with a wedding I attended yesterday. They were constantly coming with food. Bar was standard priced.
The meal was fantastic and the staff put in great effort and second helpings were offered, the vegans at our table were catered for with no fuss.

Great hotel if you're looking for pet friendly accommodation. The room we were given was very spacious, had direct access to the garden where Dex could walk in peace and very close to the underground parking lot (very recommended to park there), the latter being of much help since we arrived very late and full of mud after visiting Cliffs of Moher (just after a rainy day) at almost 11pm. The next day we went early-ish (10am) towards Connemara Park for some hiking, very convenient to be so close to the car park and also to the garden. Totally enjoyed it!
P.S. they also have vegan dishes that are quite tasty. The chef can most surely make up something on demand.response / report this review -

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC HOTEL!! Oisin and Ewa on the front desk looked after my check in and I instantly felt welcome to this beautiful family owned hotel. Aniko in the bar was fantastic, best service I've had in Ireland.
Also worth a mention is the whole team downstairs at the leisure club, very professional and helpful.response / report this review -

Nice family hotel. Some rooms are interconnects with the doors closed - avoid, no noise insulation.

Stayed here for a weekend last month and loved it. Really friendly staff. Rooms are big and very clean. Food is brilliant.
