I saw a customer complain about the food and one staff member half laughing at him. Some staff had an attitude problem. Rooms were great. The place would be 5 stars if Everyone acted like one girl who was very polite behind the check in desk.

Lovely stay in lovely hotel. Room was spacious and beds very comfortable. Had lovely quiet room as requested. Food in bar delicious and very attentive staff. Breakfast not included in price. Enjoyable 2 night stay. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay for a few nights. The food in the restaurant is very good, they have a great pint of Guinness at the bar, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Love staying here when I'm in Galway.

The welcome was absolutely dismal in every sense and the service poor. The heating system in our room is faulty and the hotel staff are playing silly games with us. Unimpressed to say the least. Sad part is that all of these madness happened just three hours into our stay.

Booked two rooms. Disappointed with the dusty smell it has an appearance of fresh clean room but it's old and does appear to have had some makeover but as an asthma sufferer I took a reaction to the dusty carpet. They didn't go the whole way to renovate just opening the windows you can see the dirt. Bathrooms small but very well designed. When you put your key in the door you can see paint missing off the door. The room next door was cold and when we rang to ask them to put heating on they said we would have to wait as it is on a timer. The night staff were rude and unhelpful. For a total price of 318 for one night it was not worth the money and would be better off spending the price of taxi fares in and out of Galway to get a better room. I would never go back.

A Very Good Hotel. Very Good food, Very friendly staff, and a wonderful Landscape. No far from the center. I hope that I will be back to Ireland: I'll be there again.

We arrived and checked in to the dirtiest hotel room either of us have ever seen or smelled. There were stains on the walls, carpet, and bedding. The bathroom was rusty and outdated. When we complained at the front desk (something neither of us have ever done), they were incredibly understanding and helpful. They upgraded our room and gave us a voucher for dinner. Our new room was somewhat nicer and cleaner. The smell was still noticeable, though. We had a fine stay in the end, but would never return nor recommend the hotel.

I always find the staff friendly, helpful, efficient and adaptable. They give great portions for their carvery. My Mum loves going there when she's visiting.

These 5 star ratings are defiantly made up by the hotel because the employees are not friendly at all. I wait to get a menu for over 15 minutes and I asked several times asking. The employees were constantly talking to each other and laughing at jokes in the bar. One of the women working there snubbed her nose at me. Should be a zero if I could do that. Don't go to this hotel.
