The place is a beautiful old world House. A dreadful pitty about the food. I brought a friend for lunch on Wednesday both our main course and dessert were stone cold. To make matters worse my mash potatoes were sitting in a pool of gravy and the gentleman gave my vegetables to my friend.

Beautiful room, nice bathroom. The food in the pub was good, breakfast was awesome. Was only there 1 night but it was spot on. Only issue is that it was a bit hard to find.

Here for wedding food average at best . Food rushed in. Staff were quiet rude at times (not floor staff) place looks great. Overall overpriced for average experience

This place had live music and very friendly staff. It was clean but the bed was a little too firm for my taste. There is not any air conditioning in the rooms.

Country chic hotel with an 18 hole golf course set around it. Above average accommodation with nice bar food.

So had the suite booked in this hotel for myself and partner to see if we would like to book our wedding here, everything was good on arrival staff seemed polite in bar and restaurant. Then we went for a meal this is when the experience turned for the worse our dinner was included in the package so we ordered starters came out which was decent, then mains came out about 10-15 minute's after, my partners one was nice she enjoyed it my order was cooked wrong so I sent it back, nice waiter Avi apologised took it and said there was no more fillet of beef would I like to try sirloin instead I said no problem waited another 15 minute's to which it was overcooked again I just ate it as it was a long wait and a little awkward eating at separate times to my partner, Avi was very apologetic asked could he offer a drink. Then the manager Nick intervened, came to the table to tell me that it was my fault as I ordered it wrong twice and said that I told waiters I asked for well done steaks I did tell him I asked for rare to medium to which his answer was "This is how it's gonna happen I will deduct the supplement for fillet and get you a drink and that will sort it" he did this in front customers who looking at me and I felt really embarrassed to which I told him he is embarrassing us he then decided to pull a chair and talk more about this and the fact I ate the steak. Myself and my partner stood up embarrassed and left without finishing the last course and went to the bar we order a drink and then we were asked by two staff was everything ok we said what happened they apologised then one of the staff was ask to go to the manager straight after. The manager Nick was at front desk I ask could I leave contact details for general manager John to contact about incident to which I got an attitude and sighing (still haven't been contacted). Went back to my partner everything was ok regarding bar staff found them to be polite and relaxed then one of the couples said they heard the manager at dinner and felt bad for how it happen us. The next morning we were checking out I purchased robe&slippers for my partner to which nick said "can i have them you can't just take" the receptionist then said to him they were bought as part of my package. Not once did he even attempt to give an apology about how he conducted himself. As a person who holds contracts with various hotel groups and chains I have never seen senior management present themselves in this manner. I would highly recommend choosing a different hotel if this is how management treat customers at the end the day the customers should be treated with respect. Just for the record found all other staff polite, professional and accommodating.

    Regards

    Lloyd

Was here for a wedding and have to say it was a very poor standard.
Service first off was very poor. Staff were badly trained and very slow. They all seemed disinterested. There was a manager on duty who just walked around and never helped
The room we stayed in was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. Only thing done was the bed was made. No clean glasses were left for us
The food for a four star was only average. Very poor standard.
Prices for a drink then changed within the hotel. The main bar was 50cent cheaper than the function room.
It has beautiful grounds and golf course but the hotel itself offers nothing that would ever make us return.
