Ok restaurantit can improve to 4 stars with attention to little details on food which is of good quality
We had a lovely dinner here for our graduation. They were so accommodating especially since we had a big group and children. The kids loved their table with the activity pack. The staff here are really lovely. Thanks for making the meal memorable!
Good restaurant with good menu. Nothing too exotic, think good Irish food. Can get quite hot which is why it looses the final star
The fish pie was absolutely amazing. And I've never had a tastier chicken-potato-cabbage dish. Highly highly highly recommend.
Nice staff. Crab cakes, bleh. Salty and tasted mainly like filler. Sauce was good though. Scallops not bad. Asian salad, salty. Would not return. This was a Rick Steves suggestion. I question his taste now.
Went for late lunch and had an extremely long wait for food - only after we asked did it appear, seems they just forgot about us.
I had a combination of small dishes: the soup of the day - tomato & basil. Tasty, but average. After that, broccoli, Sun-dried tomatoes and feta salad: tasty but not a culinary masterpiece and had too much coarse pepper on it for my liking. I also had chips which were fine.
So all in all it was ok, but I had higher expectations which weren't met so I won't be rushing back.
Farm is a great restaurant serving excellent food and organic wines. They have a good selection of vegetarian dishes as well. The cheesecake was the best cheesecake I ever ate.
Did not enjoy dinner here. I was happy to see a vegan option on the menu, but it was pretty poor to be honest. The vegan starter was good, sun-dried tomato dip, but they gave me sour cream with my main, which was a lentil chili and rice. It tasted like it was made a week ago, smelly like it had nearly give bad. Ordered a chocolate dessert, it was very rich, tasty though. Had to take the second half home.
Fresh rustic food in a lovely restaurant. Not too many 'proper restaurants' with good options for both carnivores and vegetarians, but this fit the bill. My brother had the (meat) shepherd's pie and I had a huge, filling superfood salad with a side of sweet potato fries. There is a good lineup of less 'casual' dishes, but I was happy with my choices.
Great staff, great wine selection, great food. Nothing negative to say about Farm. Highly recommended. Try the wings and blue cheese.
Second time coming to Farm restaurant and second time having the vegan option. The first time was good but this time was spectacular. I had the starter of aubergine and crudités with pitta, so tasty. Then the lentil chilli, delicious. My husband said his duck was lovely also. Service was excellent and everyone was so friendly.
I feel this place is better for lunch than dinner. I have had enjoyable lunches here but was disappointed recently when I went for dinner with friends. The starter of chicken wings was great. The main I had steak and it was over cooked and the char on the outside was so thick it made the whole steak taste burnt.
Lots of good gluten free options and a cozy ambiance (even though you can't tell that from the street). Server was nice, but for being the first ones in the door at lunch it was pretty slow. I'd go back for yummy fish pie though
We had a lovely dinner here. The vegan lentil chilli was very tasty and filling. My husband enjoyed the burger and couldn't even finish his dinner. The red wine we had was delicious and we will definitely be back again. It was a fun and busy atmosphere and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend this restaurant!
