Lovely staff and comfortable accommodations. We road out ex-hurricane Ophelia there, and while every other place in town was closed, the entire hotel was ceaselessly trying to make sure their guests were happy and satisfied. Stellar!

We stayed here for 1 night to catch the sights around Kilkenny. We received a warm Irish welcome at check-in and walked around town as our room was not quite ready. The hotel is situated right in the middle of everything, the castle is about a 5 min walk and medieval mile is just around the corner. Our room (111) was spacious and had a Nespresso machine, hair dryer, and everything you could need for a short stay. Great selection of hot and cold foods at breakfast (must try their homemade soda bread) to sustain us for our journey ahead.

What a wonderful stay! We were with a large travelling party and Pembroke was our first stop. Every room was different but all were equally charming. We stayed in 130. The view wasn't spectacular but it was quiet even on a weekend night. Lots of room for our luggage. The furnishings were gorgeous and the mattress and pillows were oh so comfy. The hotel was perfectly situated so you could walk to any number of local attractions. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. I'd never thought of putting Bailey's in my porridge but it's a favorite now, lol! Relaxing and charming stay!

Everything about our time here was outstanding. Just as we arrived our car had a flat tire. The staff was unbelievable helping to deal with it. Then, the room was as good as you could ask for; modern, clean, comfortable beds, quiet, temperature control, and curtains that completely blocked outside lights. But without a doubt, the staff of the Pembroke is what made it so great. When I return to Kilkenny, that is where I will stay.

I can't write enough good things about this hotel. In this medieval city this hotel provides all the luxuries of the modern world. The staff is extremely corteous, the rooms are great and I had a room with the full view of the castle. They have a nice restaurant and free parking in the back. The location doesn't get more central with a 5 minute walk to great restaurants and all the attractions. Go here if you want to have a nice stay in Kilkenny

Love this place. Spacious rooms, everything you need. Buffet breakfast was lovely, staff made sure we were well looked after. Staff very friendly and helpful. Perfect location. Can't wait to return.

Friendly staff and easy enough to get to. Slightly fiddly parking to get in and out of but it is private and off street. Better than expected pub menu.

Literally the best hotel I've stayed in to date in Ireland from the minute we stepped in the door right until we left we were treated like royalty in the bar and restaurant next door was no different the manager had all the staff well rehearsed on who's staying in the hotel. All the staff morning and night were amazing. I've almost become a brand ambassador

Gotta say, the service was excellent. I also loved the room and bath. The concierge gave us some wonderful tips for things to do and routes to take. She asked questions about the kind of adventures we liked and tailored suggestions for our likes and dislikes.
