It is a decent hostel for England standards. Eight to a room with showers across the hall. The hostel overall is massive, but since it is at the beginning of the Wicklow Way it can fill up quickly so book ahead. There is plenty of room for cooking in the kitchen. The hallways are open air so be sure to towel off well before leaving the showers.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, warm, comfortable bed, excellent shower and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

Amazingly beautiful location. The 4-bed dorm rooms are fantastic- the 6 bed mixed dorms are in the older building and not as nice. The staff was helpful and kitchen facilities were clean and well stocked. Great value!

Best youth hostel we stayed in. Very clean. We stayed in the deluxe room and it was awesome. Best views of the whole hostel overlooking the valley. Bring what you need to dine, clean etc as the nearest town is over 5km away. There is a taxi that runs most of the day but expect to pay about €15 each way.

The place is clean, the staff is nice and friendly and the facilities are awesome, and the environment is really beautiful. However, the maintenance is beneath expected, and this might make your stay unpleasant: broken and highly noisy beds and broken toilet cisterns in the room. If these problems were fixed, the hostel would be rated 5 stars,no doubt about this.

Very neat and tidy hostel. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Had a quiet, nice and peaceful time out there. Access to hiking routes and all that for the outdoor lovers. Great for the mind.
