  It was an amazing experience, people are so friendly and kind. The rivers meeting view was mesmerizing. Very clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend this place of you like to enjoy the countryside.

  My family stayed at The Meetings in June 2017. The facility has everything one would want from a rural hotel - pub, bar, restaurant and a small shop. The room was clean and updated, and looked out over the river. The pub was very vibrant, especially during an international football match between Ireland and Austria.
  
  When we got home, we discovered that I had forgotten our son's baby blanket. Derek and the staff went above and beyond, finding the blanket and posting it back to us in the US. This mad a huge difference for me and my wife, since the blanket was handmade by my mother-in-law. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at The Meetings again when in the area.

  Dreadful.
  Grubby, scruffy, stairs and corridors needed a good hoover.
  Suite! One large room. Nowhere to sit and dry your
  hair,with electric plug and mirror. In fact no mirror in the room at all. The bathroom had two small mirror tiles over the sink, but too high for me, and too low for my husband. Needed one larger mirror, so we could both see the whole of our faces.
  Bathroom had no sink plug, no shelf or anywhere to
  put things down, except the floor, the shower cubicle the same. Toiletries consisted
  of Tesco handwash, which incidentally I use at home in the kitchen,
  but don't expect to find in a good hotel.
  Public balcony right outside bedroom window, so had to keep
  curtains drawn across window., net curtains would have helped. No teaspoons, nothing to stir sugar in tea.
  Breakfast was O K, but no grapefruit or prunes, or yogurt. No cornflakes, only the sugary kind of cereal. We won't be coming back. €120 per night was far too much. We stayed in different hotel each night, and this was the most expensive. The others provided much more for our money.
  The staff were all very helpful and friendly, can't fault them.

  I really enjoyed my stay. The people were friendly and very helpful. They made me feel welcome. Food was good and accommodation clean and comfortable, perfectly adequate for my needs. There's a lovely little park down beside where the waters meet too. I wished I could have stayed longer.

  Loved The Meetings. It exceeded our expectations. We arrived early and they worked to get our room ready. We were there on Sunday and they played traditional music outside for 2 hours. Food was great and well priced

  Stayed in the executive family room with 3 others. The room was spotless with gorgeous views out onto the river. The room had a huge huge bed, bigger than a superking, along with 2 more seperate beds, both bigger than single beds. There was an x box and a huge flatscreen tv, perfect for the kids. All the staff were brilliant, we'd definitely reccomend and will be back, 100%!

  Looks like a nice pub but the restaurant is just thrown into the disco area when the area isn't being used. The food quality is poor and on nice days the balcony area is open which lets all the smoke from the smokers into the restaurant. That being said the staff are nice and it's in a good location. A prime case for 'at your service'!

  My wife and I went there while we were staying in Dublin to get away from the city. The rooms were nice and the food was great. It is in the middle of no where, so be prepared to stay there since there isn't much around. However, there is an entrance to the Wicklow trail that will provide a good hiking experience.
