Beautifully located resort but could do with some modernisation. Bedrooms are spacious and classy but bathroom could definitely have been cleaner. Really enjoyed the Lime Tree Restaurant for food. Overall an enjoyable and good value stay but not quite 4* standard.

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, the beds are so comfortable and the food is brilliant. The staff are wonderful, a special mention to the fabulous Heather who really went above and beyond. A massive thank you for a wonderful stay.

Second visit to tulfarris for for golf and one night stopover, course was in very good condition considering the amount of rain recently, the views around the course of the surrounding countryside and lakes are great. Had a 3 course meal in the restaurant as part of our deal in the evening and it was excellent our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable, the room for the night was very spacious and clean a few wee fixtures in the bathroom could have been seen too but that's being ultra fussy, breakfast in the morning was your usual self-service type buffet and the serving staff where very pleasant (bringing tea, coffee and poached eggs/ fried eggs not in the buffet section) overall it was a nice wee break would highly recommend to any golf addicts or otherwise, will be back again!

Fantastic place to stay. Beautiful surroundings. Nicely cut off from the hustle bustle but still within close distance to the town if needed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great view of the 18th hole from the restaurant. I would recommend staying here.

We had our wedding at the hotel and have stayed there a few times. Exceptional in every way. Our wedding meal was so amazing the staff are also the best to deal with. Highly recommend as a wedding venue.

Good if you like golf. We went for the lakes and they weren't visible from the grounds. Reception gave us the key to a room that was still occupiedthankfully no one was getting changed at the time. their only
compensation was two glasses of bubbly which we should have received anyway for booking directly.

Pretty standard hotel with lovely surroundings. The bar area was lovely and did great food. The shower pressure wasn't great and the only elevator was a small disabled one - although the hotel was only on one floor we had a load of bags so were surprised there wasn't a regular elevator.

Horrific experience on the golf course 6 hours 34 minutes to play round!!! After playing 6 holes in 3 hours phoned pro shop and asked if a ranger could be sent to speed up play. There was 26 in our group no-one saw the mythical ranger! After 12 holes we had hit the 5 hour mark phoned again surprisingly the pro shop was now closed. Spoke to the hotel manager Aishling she sent out Tommy who explained the golf club had planned to put process in place to avoid this happening I pointed out it was currently happening and totally unacceptable to take this amount of time to play a round of golf. Tommy drove of into the sunset never to be seen again. Shame on you Tulfarris
