Food wasn't bad, however for the price I would expect better. (similar buffet restaurants I have visited have much better quality and a larger variety for the same cost).
However, we were charged twice for our meal and when we returned the restaurant to rectify the issue the manager refused to see us, even though he was sat in the corner of the restaurant and asked us to leave contact details and to return later. We explained that we were flyng out of the country later that day but he still wouldn't entertain us. Fortunately we paid via credit card and have been able to issue a charge back to refund out money.
The member of staff that we talked to was helpful but obviously was left in an awkward position by his manager(who we were told was a company director)

Never have been dissappointed yet with the food at Jimmy Chung's in Dublin. Good variety of meals and deserts. Have come back more than once already!

Visited the place on the 07th of October 2017. The food was okay, and the price for the buffet was reasonable (16 euros per person to use the buffet as many times as they liked). When we entered they asked what was the number of people who were going to eat. We calculated the bill to 16*5=80 euros. It appears that they have charged twice that sum, because 3 of us changed to clean plates. There was no warning that changing to a clean plate would result in an additional 16 euro charge. The final total was something around 175 euros. Even so not everybody switched to a clean plate, I cannot understand how they came up with that charge. The personnel was very uncooperative in regards to the matter. Excellent location, but beware of hidden charges.

Decent Asian cuisine buffet.. I went to this place couple of times with my family, every time food was fresh and good. Freshness is expected as this place is very busy. Probably not good for an romantic dinner, but good for sure if you are hungry and fancy to try new flavors. Only thing I didn't like was bit worn (scratched) plates and place could be little bit more clean. Don't get me wrong, still acceptable level, however far from proper restaurant level. Pros are variety of: Asian flavors, selection of fruits and vegetables, ice creams and desserts. All this in reasonable price. Every time I went to this place my bill never go above 50 quid in total. Two adults and three kids , no fancy drinks just a jug of water.

Lots of food. All you can eat. As expected, None of it really good. It's for when you're extremely hungry and lost your sense of taste. Nice toilettes.

Top class Chinese buffet. Very Clean. Great choice of dishes. Great selection of deserts and starters. There is a strong possibility that you will overeat here.
I would have given it 5 stars but I found that the chicken curry on this occasion was a little watery. It was still tasty.
I would definitely visit again.

Convenient location - heart of Dublin city center. Great choice of meats, noodles, rice, prawn crackers,chips, sushi was also available on Saturday evening. Different options available for dessert too - cakes, ice cream, jellies . Price is 15.90 on weekend per head, this is excluding drinks. But cocktails and shots are really good. Waiting staff is really quick, empty dirty plates disappeared immediately.

In my opinion is the best Chinese Buffet in Dublin. Great food, the place is very clean and nice and the price is excellent. There is a good variety of food and also deserts.

The variety of the buffet was good but considering the taste and quality, it was below expectations. The staff was very polite and nice. Tap water served was actually tasted like a bottled water so that was positive. They had some sushi rolls which were OK. The other dishes they had tasted very greasy and not fresh. Meat was very dry too. Food is not worth 16.90! It's all you can eat but you cannot eat that's the problem. They should lower the price or improve the quality of food.

We've been here a few times over the years, when visiting Dublin. It is a very busy 'all you can eat' self serve, Asian restaurant.
There is no onsite parking and getting somewhere close to safely leave the car is a nightmare.
Service is done with military precision. Buffet tables promptly refilled and clearing away at the end of the night is done with lightening speed!!
The only human interaction you get from the staff is a fast table allocation, drinks order and an equally speedy bill settlement.
Expect no personal service here, it's all about the 'all you can eat' food spread over the buffet tables. You are left to discover them alone.
That said, the food is varied and nice. The salads, sushi and desserts are my dishes. The fried starters, like spring rolls and sloppy curried mains I avoid.
Not a bad place to eat. It's usually very busy and can get very noisy when the crowds pack in.
