I popped in here for a beer before a show. I had a Heineken and a plate of chips, my friend had a glass of prosecco.

The reason for the one star is the standard of service which was woeful. The waiter that handled us was very rude, reluctant even to provide a menu as according to him "he was the menu". Even as he took our orders he wandered off as I took some time to go through the lost of beers they have in offer.

Will not be returning.

Love the wine and frequent this place during the hotter days for the sunlit terrace. However, one or two of the senior waiting staff are haughty and officious. Should one of them in particular become aware that you are a regular he will begin to make advances but not in a friendly way. You begin to get watched and eavesdropped; one could start to feel like a caricature for the staff's amusement. I have taken a liking to the wine cave of late as none of that seems acceptable there.

Really enjoyed my meal here recently. We ate down stairs which was lovely and intimate. The service was excellent. The food was also pretty good with loads of gluten free options available. It's also fairly well priced for what you get. It's a nice place to be in the evening as it's a little away from the usual hustle bustle.

This place is a gem! We had a lovely dinner and the atmosphere is spectacular. The wine was excellent and the steaks delicious. We were so impressed we bought a gift card for our daughter who is studying here.
